CHAPTER 36: FIRST MOTHER'S DAY

"...Bird!"

"...Ngbird!"

I slowly opened my eyes to see Keigo's face right above mine. The sun was shining through the top of the window as he slightly moved my hair out of my face.

"Good morning my cute little songbird. Happy Mother's Day" he said softly into my ear.

I smiled a little as he kissed my forehead. "Me and the kids made a special breakfast for you" he said as I got myself up using my elbows and smirked a little.

He grabbed my hand, gently pulling me up and out of bed. He was leading me towards the kitchen.

I gasped a little at the sight of breakfast on the tables as the kids laughed at my expression on my face. "Happy Mother's Day mommy!" Rose and Ren said.

I kissed the two of them on their foreheads as I looked at the food in amazement. "How'd you guys managed to make all of this while waking me up" I said.

Keigo laughed a little as he walked to the counter, grabbing some plates and cups using his feathers. "Magic" Keigo said.

There were pancakes, waffles topped with some syrup, rolls with melted butter with some sausage and bacon and about a dozen fruit which included strawberries, grapes and bananas.

Keigo placed a steaming cup of coffee in front of me as he was swirling it with a little bit of creamer. I couldn't keep the smile off my face as Rose and Ren put their food onto their plates and almost looked like they didn't eat for weeks.

"The two of you do know that the food doesn't have legs, right. It's not going anywhere! Slow down before you two choke to death" I said. "Ok mommy" Rose and Ren said.

The two of them slowed down a lot so they wouldn't choke to death.

Keigo put the plate in front of me as it was full of different foods. I kissed his cheek as he sat next to me while we were enjoying our food.

After we enjoyed our breakfast and cleared the table, Rose came in with a wrapped up gift in her hands.

I smiled a little as Rose handed the gift to me. "This one's from the three of us. We made it ourselves" Rose said. "We hope that you like it mommy" Ren said. 

I picked up the gift and I unwrapped it. Then I put the wrapping paper into the bin while I saw a black box in front of me. I gently lift up the lid as I saw a feather necklace in it.

I looked up at the kids and Keigo. "This is really perfect, thank you" I said as Keigo unclipped it, standing behind me as he put it on as Rose and Ren went to the seating area to watch some TV.

Keigo chuckled at their quick retreat as he walked in front of me and he grabbed my hand. He bowed a little and kissed the back part of my hand. "My cute little songbird. Tonight, me and you will be dining at one of the finest restaurants in the city" Keigo said as he leaned in to whispered into my ear. "And we can have some alone time after" he said.

He pulled away as he smirked a little at my blushing face. I stood up while I was staring at him. "I would love that" I said.

 <TIME SKIP>

"Ok, we love you two so behave!" I said as me and Keigo kissing Rose and Ren goodbye. "We will! We love you!" they said as the two of them are running back inside to have some fun inside with Skylar. The two of us stood back up fully and we looked at Kenzie. "Thank you for looking after the two of them" Keigo said. "Anytime. I really like looking after them" Kenzie said.
