CHAPTER 8: THE CYBERGATE OPENS

All of us entered Nate's lab as we saw Nate with a backpack. "Hey, where do you think you are going?" Blaze asked. "I developed some new weapon prototypes that will upgrade them with animal DNA" Nate said. Kanan stopped Nate from leaving the lab. "You know the rule, you can't leave the base without me. You're too important" Kanan said. "Fine, let's go" Nate said. "See you guys later. Blaze...I'm putting you in charge until we get back" Kanan said. "You can count on me, Kanan" Blaze said. The two of them left the lab.

All of us got to where Vacuutron is. "Let's go, team" Blaze said. Vacuutron started to fire at us as we hid behind a car.

"It's Morphin' Time!" Blaze shouted. The four of us summoned our Morphers onto our wrists.

"Activate Beast Power!" we shouted as all of us Morphed.

"Unleash the Beast!" all of us shouted.

"Tronics!" Vacuutron shouted. All of us started to fight. Vacuutron got onto the truck as he started to leave. "Hey, stop that truck" I said. "Oh no" Roxy said.  All of us were continuing to fight the Tronics.

Me and Blaze slashed some of the Tronics. "Beast Blast!" Roxy and Ravi shouted as the two of them fired at the Tronics. "Where did the Robotron drive off to?" Roxy asked. "I don't know. But we got to find that Morph X" Ravi said. "Let's split and find it" Blaze said. "Let's go" I said. Then all of us split up to look for the Robotron.

"No sign of the Robotron downtown in Sector Delta 7-7" Blaze said. "And nothing visible in Sector 2-5" Roxy said. "Sector 8-4 has nothing either" Ravi said. "Nothing here as well" I said.

All of us were back to Grid Battleforce. "Any luck on finding that Robotron?" Commander Shaw asked. "None of us found anything" Blaze said. "Understood. But right now, there's another problem. Nate and Kanan didn't come back to the base and their communicators are offline" Commander Shaw said. "They must be in trouble" Roxy said. "We have got to save them" Ravi said. "Yeah" I said. All of us were about to leave the room.

"Hold on...Nate is a capable young man. Also...Kanan is very capable too. So don't count the two of them out just yet" Commander Shaw said. "But Nate isn't a fighter Commander. He can't defend himself at all. And Kanan is new to this whole thing, same with Natsuo" Ravi said. Ben and Betty entered the room. "Commander, we got some bad news" Ben said. "You know that truck, that got away with the Morph X. Well, we saw it and our tracker it...it..." Betty started to say. "It fell onto the back of the truck, we're sorry" Ben said.

"Wait, if your tracker was on the back of the truck. If we find the truck, then we can probably find Nate and Kanan too" I said. "Yeah...good point" Ben said as he used the tracker remote. "I got it online, it's right next to the unused warehouse in Sector Kilo 1-8" Ben said. "Great work Ben and Betty. Bring Nate and Kanan back safe and sound" Commander Shaw said. All of us were heading towards the warehouse.

All of us were outside the warehouse, hiding behind some boxes. "I just looked through the window, Nate and Kanan is in there with Liam. They seem ok but he is building some sort of machine as Nate is building something and Kanan is being held hostage" Blaze said. "Come on, we got to get in there" Ravi said. We tried to rush into the warehouse but all of us got attacked by Vacuutron. "Evox is returning to this world to rule it. All of you Rangers can't stop him at all" Vacuutron said. "Evox?" Roxy said. "That's not good" I said. "And now, you will wipe the dust" Vacuutron said. "Not if we wipe you out first" Blaze said.

"Activate Beast Power!" Blaze shouted as the four of us Morphed. "Transport Beast X Saber!" we shouted as all of us summoned our Beast X Sabers. All of us started to fight Vacuutron. Blaze caught Natsuo. "Are you ok?" Blaze asked. "Yeah but we got to get in there after we get passed this Robotron" I said. Vacuutron attacked us and we fell onto the ground. "It's time to get rid of this filth" Vacuutron said. "The only filth around here is you" Blaze said. All of us were continuing to fight.

"Hold very still!" Vacuutron said as he fired at us. All of us fell onto the ground. "I'm wiping the floor with you" Vacuutron said. 

I just heard noises coming from the warehouse. "Nate! Kanan! We got to try and get in there!" I said. Then I was trying to get into the warehouse. "Natsuo, look out!" Blaze said. Vacuutron fired at me and I fell onto the ground. "No!" I said.

"So long suckers!" Vacuutron said as he fired at us. All of us fell onto the ground again. "We got to get to Nate and Kanan" Ravi said. "You're all washed up, Rangers. Prepare to be destroyed!" Vacuutron said. Vacuutron rushed towards us but he got blasted back and fell onto the ground.

{Kanan Takami}

A Gold and Silver Ranger stood next to me as the three of us appeared in front of them. "This mess will be optimal test of our Ranger Powers" the Gold Ranger said. "What's this?" Vacuutron questioned. "What?" Natsuo said. "Who are you?" Blaze asked. "It's me, Nate" Nate said. "Nate!" the others said. "And this is..." Nate was about to introduce the Silver Ranger. "Now's not the time for intros, come on" the Silver Ranger said. "We explain everything later" I said. The two of them started to fight Vacuutron.

"Got it, Commander. There's a Gigadrone in the city" Ravi said. "You guys go. We can take care of this" Nate said. "Ok" we said as all of us went to go to our Zords.

"What's your status, team" I said to the others. "We are in position" the others said. "All systems go!" all of us said. "I got the Gigadrone in sight. It's sucking the Morph X directly from the tower, I am going to be needing some back up" Blaze said.

"Almost there, Blaze" Ravi said. "We are right above you" Roxy said. "Getting there as fast as we can" I said. "We are heading your way" Natsuo said. "He's got the same weapon as the Robotron" Blaze said. "We're losing power, it is sucking our Morph X fuel" Cruise said.

"Blaze is in trouble" Jax said. "Not for long. Rapid Blast!" Roxy shouted as she attacked the Gigadrone. "Thanks for the save. I just hope Nate is ok" Blaze said.

Ravi's Wheeler Zord had got into Gorilla Mode and clogged up the vacuum. "His vacuum's all blocked up, nice" I said.

"Beast X Megazord! Combine!" Blaze shouted.

"Beast X Megazord Unleashed!" me and Blaze shouted as we formed the Megazord.

"Right on!" Cruise said.

"Powering Beast X Blade!" Roxy said.

"Charging Main Weapons!" Ravi said.

"Target locked!" Natsuo and I said.

"Transport Cheetah Beast Blaster! Beast X Hyper Strike!" Blaze shouted as all of us destroyed the Gigadrone.

"Virus Eliminated!" Blaze shouted as all of us were cheering.

All of us were back at Grid Battleforce. "Wow, that's quite the story. It sounds like that you two handled it pretty well. I'll let the General know. And it was nice to meet you, uh..." Commander Shaw said. "Oh, he needs a name" Nate said. "How about Mr Fantastic Super Handsome Strong As Steel?" the Silver Ranger suggested. We were laughing a little.

"Maybe just Steel for short" Nate said. "I love it, you're smart" Steel said. "Steel, it suits you perfectly" Blaze said as he tapped his hand against Steel's head. "So, we know you planned on being a Ranger. So how did he Morph?" Natsuo said. "Yeah...how could a robot do that?" Roxy asked.  "Well, it was easy for me since I had the insect DNA. Also, I thought about Steel Morphing so I did some tests" Nate said. "I will let you tell them the good part" Steel said.

"Well..." Nate was about to say but Steel interrupted him. "You see, the thing is...I am human" Steel said. "Excuse me?" Ravi questioned. "He's right, sort of. It turns out that Morph X has bonded his Scarab Beetle DNA and to my DNA" Nate said. "Making me the perfect Ranger" Steel said.

"It was a shock to me too, even though I was there to witness it" I said. "You Rangers have always been my family. But now, I finally have a real brother" Nate said. "Well, you brothers did amazing today" Blaze said. "I think that we owe you an apology" Natsuo said. "We thought that you couldn't handle yourself" Ravi said. "But we learned the same lesson that Liam did. That you don't mess with Nate" Roxy said.

"Welcome to the Ranger team...both of you" I said. "Thanks Kanan" Nate said.
