Chapter ten: Friends

{{This chapter takes place after Miyo starts school. The only group chats mentioned will be between Miyo and her family (Gin, Chuuya, Kōyō and Rysunosuke.) The second chat is between Miyo and her two friends; As1 and As2. Myo is six years old. She is able to speak clearer and can write a few words, however her ability is still not under control. Miyo, As1 and As2 are all the same age.}}

"Are you two coming to school tomorrow?"

As1 sent a voice message
"We'll try, we don't know if we can since we're being hunted down"

Miyo sent a voice message
"I'll ask mama if you can stay the night!"

"You don't have to do that, Miyo-chan.."

Miyo sent a voice message
"I want to."

As1 sent a voice message
"Only if it's not too big of a deal, if Mr. Chuuya says yes then we'll meet him at the edge of the forest.."

"Mama, can my friends have a sleepover tonight?"

Mama: sure
Mama: Wait–
Mama: What friends?

Ryuu-ani: Who are these 'friends'?

Gin-ane: Are we sure they're your friends?

Oba-san: Gin, Ryuu, please calm down. I can see you both getting ready to murder someone.

Miyo sent a voice message
"Don't hurt them!" you could hear the sadness in her voice, she was probably crying while reading everyone's reactions. "They've been my friends for six years!"

Mama: Baby, you've only been out of that lab for a year–
Mama: oh god.

Ryuu-ani: They were in the lab with her?
Ryuu-ani: Did they run away the same time you did?

Miyo sent a voice message
"They did, we got separated in the forest though, and found them when we went to school."

Oba-san: Do they have a family now?

Miyo sent a voice message
"No.."

Mama: Okay, fine.
Mama: They can stay the night, after I'll send them to an orphanage.

Miyo sent a voice message
"No, As2 is scared of big groups of people.."

Mama: Okay, we can talk about this later, do you want to tell me where they are so I can pick them up?

Miyo sent a voice message
"In a forest close to the bad end of town.."

Mama: Okay, I'll pick them up, Ane-san, will you come with me?

Oba-san: I will.

"Mama and Oba-san are coming to get you both!"

"Are you sure it's okay? We're dirty and icky.."

"I'm sure! Mama will love you no matter what!"
