Chapter Fifteen: Meeting

{{I literally spent 3 hours looking for Jounos eye colour and couldn't find it so I just gave up and went with red eyes. TnT
This is a continuation of chapter 13, I've just moved it back a chapter since I wanted to introduce some new characters which will likely be introduced in a a/n later.}}

Chuuya walked over with the twins, both holding onto his hands while glaring at each other they seemed to be fighting over Chuuya. They had taken a liking to Chuuya within the past 24 hours or so. "Jouno, Tecchou, This is As1 and As2." Chuuya said, pushing each child forward to the two men.

As1, the boy just watched them, tilting his head to the side. His white hair matched Jounos while his gold eyes matched Tecchous. The girl, As2 had brown hair and pigmented red eyes, a mix of Jouno and Tecchou, however the red eyes might have just been from a dna malfunction in the lab since no one knows what colour eyes Jouno has.

Jouno hummed, letting the children come to him so he wouldn't scare the children away from him. Slowly As2 walked towards him, looking him over before grabbing his hand, slowly writing 'hi' on his palm with her finger. Jouno smiled weakly. "Hello.." he said softly.

The girl looked up at him, tilting her head a bit, she was unsure of what to do next. As1 however just clung to Chuuya. "Who's he?"

Chuuya smiled gently at the boy. "He is one of your dads." he said softly, rubbing the boy's head, seeming slightly upset now he had to give away two of the children, Chuuya had gotten attached quite quickly.

Dazai stood behind Chuuya, hugging him around the waist, giving him a small amount of comfort. "Go say hi, kiddo." Dazai said with a smile, his chin resting atop Chuuya's head. As1 slowly walked over to Tecchou instead of Jouno and shook the man's hand, apparently he liked the man who spoke rarely more than Jouno, maybe it's because the stronger presence felt safer.

Chuuya looked up at the two hunting dogs. "As1 is blind."

Both Jouno and Tecchou looked at him with wide eyes, jouno's eyes were still shut however his expression was one of shock. "He is? Was he born blind?"

"No." Dazai said weakly. "His file said that he had his pupils cut, they let him go blind as a punishment." Dazai hummed and looked at the boy. "Yet he still protects his sister efficiently, it's quite amazing.

Jouno nodded slowly. "And the girl? She can't speak?"

Chuuya nodded. "Correct, she had her voice box removed." he said weakly, looking at the back of the small girl's head. "She asked for a stuffed animal and it was removed." He looked like he was going to cry, these children had been through too much and it hurt Chuuya's heart.

"Oh god.." Jouno muttered and bent down, picking the girl up in his arms and hugging her close to his chest, head resting atop the childs. "We'll have to make sure there's no chances of infections or anything.."

Chuuya smiled weakly. "They have three abilities between the two of them." he said gently.

"As1 has the ability called 'Siren's scales' his ability when activated a selected part of his body is covered in scales which is indestructible, he can move these scales around his body and into his sisters but that is about all he can do other than make full body armour." Chuuya explained, taking a breath before continuing. "He can make his scales into weapons as well, however he and his sister are the only ones able to hold them."

Jouno nodded slowly, taking in the information given to him with a slight amused expression. The boy's ability was nothing similar to his or Tecchous however that would make sense considering no one can have the same ability and that the child was made in a lab. "And As2's?"

Dazai smiled, nodding his head. He would explain it this time. "As2's ability is called Siren's song."

Tecchou raised a brow "how can she use her ability? It sounds like it's a verbal one."

"It is." Chuuya nodded and relaxed against Dazais chest more, As2 was holding onto Jouno, seeming about to fall asleep. " Her ability adapted to this change instantly and gives her a temporary voice box for her to use her ability." Chuuya explained, closing his eyes, this encounter was exhausting him already.

Dazai went on to finish the explanation on her ability. "As2 has an ability that is only activated when she sings. Depending on the song/melody its effect is different. What happens around her depends on what song/melody she sings which could be targeting herself or someone else." He said, simplifying it to a large extent.

"So different songs or melodies have different effects?" Tecchou asked. "So she could heal people, make force fields and harm others, depending on the tune or lyrics of a song?"

"Yes." Dazai said with a smile, kissing the top of Chuuya's head. "She might even be one of the strongest ability users out there."

Chuuya hummed. "There is a fourth child, I'm not sure who they are or where they are but I hope we find them so they can stay together. Apparently he is like a brother to Miyo." Chuuya said weakly, looking down at his hands, hoping nothing bad would happen to the missing child.
