Chapter 10: Hill Valley, 1885

The Next Day...
Thursday September 3rd 1885
10:04AM

As soon as Marty woke up he got in a wagon with the Bain family and they were kind enough to give Marty a ride to town, after a while they finally arrived to Hill Valley which was across from the train tracks.

Thanks for the ride, you guys said Marty

The pleasure is all ours, Mr. Eastwood said Frank

Say Hi to Chris for me! said Sarah

Sure thing said Marty

As the wagon was pulled away by the horse, Marty then walked into his hometown of Hill Valley, he couldn't believe how small and quaint it was, in 1955, 1985 and 2015 it was quite different as there were cars and many buildings that Marty was familiar with, but in 1885 none of that existed yet, Hill Valley looked any old western town he'd see in classic western movies, there was a saloon which would later become Lou's Diner in 1955, the fitness centre in 1985 and the Cafe 80's in 2015, there were horses pulling wagons and to top it off the famous clock tower was in mid construction, and according to a banner in the town square there was a festival to unveil the new clock on September 5th.

As Marty looked around the town he suddenly got startled by a bunch of horses running towards him pulling a stagecoach, luckily he jumped out of the way but he stepped on some manure much to his disgust, Marty didn't even know where to start looking for Doc's blacksmith shop, so he decided to step inside the Saloon to see if anyone knew how to find Doc and Chris, Marty stepped into the Saloon and there were some people starring at him as they've never seen him before and also he was wearing the most ridiculous cowboy outfit they'd ever seen, this caught the attention of a few guys playing poker.

"Take a look at what just breezed in the door"

"I didn't know the circus was in town"

"Must've got that shirt off a dead Chinese"

Marty ignored the patrons laughing at him and went straight to the bartender Chester, who was wiping the counter.

What'll be, stranger? Chester asked

Uh, I'll have a...iced water said Marty

Iced Water?! said another patron while laughing

Water?, you want water you better go dunk your head in the horse trawl out there, in here we pour whiskey said Chester

Chester then poured a shot of whiskey for Marty, he was only 17 so he was three years away from the legal drinking age which didn't exist yet in 1885, so he didn't drink it he just lightly tapped it, then suddenly Chester saw someone familiar come in.

Ah O'Connor, what should I get you?, the usual? asked Chester

Yeah I'll have two root beers please? said O'Connor

As soon as Marty heard the boy's name, he then remembered the writing on Chris' tombstone, this was O'Connor McCarlin, O'Connor looked at Marty and he couldn't help but chuckle at Marty's outfit.

Dude, what the hell are you wearing? O'Connor laughed

I got it from the costume sho-, I mean I had it custom made said Marty

Okay sure, you're new here aren't you? asked O'Connor

Yeah I guess said Marty

I'm O'Connor McCarlin said O'Connor as he introduced himself to Marty

I'm Marty Mc-, Ah I Mean Clint, Clint Eastwood said Marty

Wait a minute, you're Marty McFly!, you're Chris' brother! O'Connor exclaimed

Yeah I am said Marty

But wait, what are you doing here?, shouldn't you be back in the future by now? asked O'Connor

It's a long story- wait how do you know that I'm from the future? asked Marty

Doc and Chris told me, don't worry I won't tell anyone else your secret is safe with me said O'Connor

Hey kid, you wouldn't happen to know where Doc and Chris are, do you? asked Marty

Oh yeah, I do I'll take you there right now said O'Connor

Before Marty and O'Connor could head down to the shop a familiar man entered the room with his friends

"Hey, McFly"

Marty and O'Connor turned to see Buford Tannen and his goons but there was a new addition to the crew, she wore a leather vest, farmer's hat, had a cigarette in her mouth and she looked mean as ever, it was O'Connor's former aunt, Margaret McCarlin.

Aunt Margaret?! said O'Connor shocked by what he's seen
