Chapter 23: Chris' New Girlfriend

The Next Day
Monday October 28th 1985
7:30AM

Chris woke up the next day , after the crazy time travelling adventure he went through that weekend it was nice to be back in his own time period and being a regular 13 year old kid again, Chris rode his bike to school as his Walkman played Huey Lewis and the News' song "Do You Believe in Love" on the way he noticed Marty and Jennifer in Marty's new truck he waved hello to them as he rode his bike.

As soon as he arrived at his school he was greeted by his friends Billy and Hawn they of course were glad to see Chris again.

Later that day...
Chris, Billy and Hawn sat in the cafeteria during lunch as Chris told more about his time travelling adventure to his friends they were shocked to hear about the things he saw and the different time periods he travelled to.

Wait so in this alternate 1985, Biff Tannen turned Hill Valley into a wasteland?! asked Billy

Yep! said Chris

And Principal Edna and her brother tried to kill you and Marty with shotguns? asked Hawn

Yep! said Chris

That sounds messed up, man said Hawn

It was, but thankfully after Marty and I burnt the almanac in 1955 everything went back to normal said Chris

Chris then looked over at one of the tables, and saw the girl he had his eye on before he left his own time period who he referred to as "The New Girl" , after the brief relationship he had with Sarah back in 1885, he was now more confident to walk up to her and ask her out, Chris then got up and walked over to the table, "the New Girl" was listening to music on her Walkman as Chris walked up to greet her with a friendly smile.

Hi greeted Chris

Hey! greeted the New Girl as she took off her headphones

I'm Chris, Chris McFly said Chris introducing himself

Oh I know said the New Girl

You do? asked Chris

Sure you sit behind me in Mr. Gale's English class, he always calls out your name for attendance said The New Girl

Oh cool! said Chris

Chris heard some music coming through her headphones he was curious about what it was.

What are you listening to there? asked Chris

The girl then handed Chris her headphones and he heard the song "Everything She Wants" by Wham!

It's Wham! said Chris

You like Wham? asked The New Girl

"Are you kidding me I love Wham!, I love rock too but you can't go wrong with Wham!" said Chris

This made the girl laugh, Chris then noticed she was wearing a familiar necklace, one look at the necklace and he recognized it immediately, it was the same sapphire necklace he made for Sarah 100 years prior, he realized that he was talking to her ancestor.
