Christine was the first to see the callback list, and she was beyond thrilled! Not only did she get called back, but she got called back for Eponine, who she wanted to play the most! She also got called back for Fantine, which was exciting!
Upon looking further, everyone in her friend group got called back. Brooke was called back as Fantine, which made Christine very excited. She'd make an excellent Fantine for sure. She was also called back for Cosette, but Christine was definitely rooting for Fantine more. Jeremy was called back for Marius, which Christine was rooting for. Rich was called back for Javert and Thénardier, which was exciting too! Rich must've done very well. Jenna was called back for Madame Thénardier and, more surprisingly, Cosette. Aside from a few other juniors, everyone else that was being called back was a senior.
Christine was honestly shocked, but she was more than excited. Callbacks would be next week, so they had time to prepare everything they needed. Looks like for everyone
"Is that the callbacks list?" Jenna suddenly appeared behind Christine, pointing to the paper taped to the wall, "I told the groupchat I'd send a picture since it's gonna be crowded soon, I'm sure."
Christine nodded, stepping aside for her, "Check it out! You got called back for Cosette and Madame Thénardier. I didn't know you could sing that high."
Jenna took a picture and gave a smile, "Yeah, I've got a soprano one voice according to Miss Fischer."
Christine squealed, "Jenna, do you even know what this means?"
Jenna furrowed her brows as she sent the picture to the groupchat. As she did that, she walked away from the sheet and gestured for Christine to follow so they wouldn't be in the way when everyone else that auditioned for there, "What?"
"Everyone in our friend group that auditioned got called back. We could all get cast!" Christine clutched her arms with a big smile, "You could be our Cosette, you'd be the female lead if that happens."
Jenna blinked a couple of times, "Oh wow. I hadn't really thought about it like that. That's... that's really exciting, actually. You really think I could get it?"
Christine nodded, despite having not heard her yet. If she was good enough to get called back, she had to be good enough to get cast.
Unfortunately they couldn't discuss further, because a big group of seniors were coming to see if they'd been called back.
