Chloe and Michael just wanted to grab more paint. They needed a lot of it, which is why there were two of them, but they didn't realize the door would lock them inside when it shut.
So, here they were, with Michael jiggling the door knob and muttering to himself for it to open, as if that'd help actually get it open.
"Michael, stop." Chloe said after a minute of it, the noise bothering her rather quickly, "It's not gonna work."
Michael let go of the knob, shoving his hands into his pants pockets, "Well... do you know a way out of here? Is there like- I don't know, a spare key or something in here?"
Chloe shook her head, "Why would I know? Why would they have a spare key in here, actually?"
"Maybe because it's easy to get locked in," Michael shot back, "I thought maybe because your stage manager you'd know what to do."
Chloe suddenly had an idea, "I know exactly what to do," she got out her phone and before Michael could question her, she added, "I'm gonna call Jake and have him let us out."
Michael nodded rapidly, visibly calming when she said her plan. Must've been claustrophobic or something, the small space seemed to really freak him out.
They both brightened when they heard a "hello?" come through the phone.
