Christine, being the one cast as Eponine, helped a lot with the characterization of the younger Eponine.  The little girl cast as her was named Abby, and Christine absolutely loved her.  She was a very sweet girl, and she was very good at what she did.

Abby had a silent role, she just walked on stage with the Thénardiers toward the beginning of the musical, but she was also the younger Cosette's understudy in case she got sick, with another girl being ready as young Eponine if the Cosette needed.

Because Christine helped her though, they were close, at least somewhat, and Abby often came to hang out with Christine offstage when she could, and would come to her after their rehearsals.  Christine always told her how well she did, and they'd talk about how close they were getting to performances.

Tonight was special as they got off stage after rehearsal.

Tonight was the last day of tech rehearsals.  Monday they'd start dress rehearsals.  They were so close to performances.

As Christine was removing her mic, Abby ran to her excitedly, "Oh my god, Chrissy!  Is it over?  Is it really over?"

Christine nodded with a big smile, "It's over!  Next week we start in costume!  Are you ready?"

Abby nodded quick and gave her a hug when her hands were free, "I can't talk long, my mom's waiting for me, but I'll see you on Monday!"

Christine waved as she ran off, "Bye Abby!  You killed it!  See you Monday!"
