Rich walked out of the audition room feeling good, and he saw Jeremy waiting with a smile, "Hey, man!  Were you listening?  How'd you think I did?"

Jeremy gave a rapid nod, though he was visibly very nervous, "Y-Yeah!  You kicked ass, man!"

Rich stood next to him and nudged his side, "What's wrong?  You're all nervous and stuff."

Jeremy swallowed and gave a half shrug, "I- I dunno, I just- I'm just getting a bit of stage fright I guess.  Marius callbacks are up next.  I want to get him really badly, but I'm worried I'll mess up."

"Well..." Rich started off, trying to find comforting words, "I was really nervous too when I went in there.  I'm still nervous, actually.  I still have Javert callbacks to do.  Just focus and do the best you can.  You'll kick ass."

Jeremy gave a nod and looked down at his hands, "It's also just... I'm not sure if I really want to get cast.  I mean, it'd be exciting, but... I don't know if I'm ready to be a lead in a musical, you know?"

Rich did know.  He wasn't sure if he was ready either.  "Well, what better way to find out?  Honestly, I can't wait for your turn, I'll be out here listening.  You're gonna do great."

Jeremy let out a breath, "Yeah?  I hope you're right.  I hope I do well.  I think... this would be a good experience, to get cast."

Rich agreed, and as the last Thénardier callback left the room, Jeremy was called back for Marius, "Good luck, man!"

"Thanks." Jeremy stood and walked toward the room, shaking out his nerves before he went inside.
