Final Mistake

Michael felt really guilty.  For their last performance of their short run, he'd totally missed a light cue for Master of the House, and in doing so, he messed Rich up.  It didn't seem to be noticeable to the people that didn't already know the show, but Michael felt bad, and Rich seemed upset about it.

After the show, they had to clean up, and unfortunately, he and Rich were assigned to different parts of the stage, so he couldn't give him a proper apology until after they were finished tearing down the set.

It was crazy that something that took weeks to put up was taken down in just a couple hours.

"Hey, Rich!" Michael caught him before he could leave, thankfully, "I'm so sorry about what happened with Master of the House-"

"It's not your fault, Michael." Rich cut him off, "I know you missed a cue but it didn't have anything to do with that, I just got my lines mixed up.  Probably would've happened whether or not you got your cue right.  It's fine."

"Are you sure?" Michael frowned, "I still feel bad about it, I mean we've killed it every night only for our last night to be where we made mistakes."

Rich shrugged, "It happens.  Nothing we can do about it now.  Seriously, it's fine.  I gotta go though.  Later, Michael."

Michael blinked and waved goodbye to him, looking around before he headed toward his car.

It was really over.
