Weeks have past and it's now almost the end of May. The Devils just won their second round of playoffs against the Leafs. They're going to play the Bruins in the conference finals in a few days. "Ok so my flight leaves on may 31st. Then I have fittings june 1st. Then I walk the 2nd and 3rd." Elyssa lays out her schedule for Jack. "So when will you be back?" He asks, sitting across from her at their dining table. "Maybe like the 4th or 5th?" She sounds unsure. "We might have a game on the 4th." He reminds her. "I'll try to make it. But I don't know if the times will work." She's honest with him. "What's your game schedule again?" "Home on the 27th and 29th. Away on the 31st and 2nd. Home on the 4th if we go to a 5th game." He reads from his phone. "Ok." She sighs, rubbing her eyes. "So either win in 4, or force a 5th game." She partly jokes, still sounding stressed. "It'll be alright lyss." He tries to calm her down. "I know. I just feel bad missing your playoff games." She admits. "And it sucks missing your show. But we gotta do what we gotta do." Jack says light heartedly. "Wanna do something fun?" He changes the subject, closing her laptop that sat in front of her. "What?" She laughs at his childish tone. "Shower sex" he proposes, making Elyssa laugh more. "You have a dirty mind lately, Mr. Hughes." She holds eye contact with him as he stands up. "You motivate it, Mrs. Hughes." He picks her up from the chair she sat in, throwing her over his shoulder. "Jack!" She laughs as he walks them both to their shower.
