Carrot Bro's - Fang And Kaizo

Peaceful Night

It was like any other day where the Kokotaim Gangs were on their mission given by their commander to travel to another planet, collection data's, saving the captured or deserted power sphere on the planet. It was like any other adventure to them, just with an additional member to join them, of course the renowned Captain Kaizo.

Honestly why would he followed them here? Especially when he was busy with his other disguised mission and all. Well turns out he was meant to be on the planet to for mission, it was a coincidence that he and the gangs were given the same place for their mission. So, he just tagged along-- just want to see how well the gangs can handled this mission, really, it's not an excuse to just want to see and spend time with his brother. Really.

It was finally the time where they need a place to stay and rest for the night. Being surrounded by the wild forest means that they need to camp there, not that they mind it. It was a good way to enjoy the nature plus not being forgotten by a certain dino boy.

...

Finally it was night time, the quiet peaceful night. A peaceful night where everyone including the gangs was sleeping soundly and  peacefully, resting after all the hard work they've done during today's mission, except for one man.

Crak..

The crackling fire had almost died up, but it still provide the warmth and the light for them to go through the cold night. Of course, it all thanks to our Captain.

Still wide awake and aware of his surroundings while sitting on a tree branch, Kaizo was looking out for the fire since he can't sleep and was silently glancing at his sleeping brother not far from him and well being with the other two earthboys.

As expected, Fang was soundly sleeping in his comfortable camp bed, after all he's been working hard all this time...he deserves the rest.

Unlike him, he couldn't sleep well- well not after he had such a horrible dream about their family, precisely his brother. The day that still haunts him even to this day.

The neverending nightmare

How he wishes he could just went and hug his brother tightly but Kaizo couldn't bring himself to wake up his little brother. So he just watch from afar while looking at his brother from there.

"Haih.." His life is a mess--

"Abang?"

Kaizo flinched a little at the familiar sleepy voice and slowly turned around to look at his brother.

Fang yawns while rubbing his eyes sleepily, he has already sit-up from his camp bed while holding his glasses.

"...Why are you awake?" Kaizo raised an eyebrow at his brother.

Fang put on his purple glasses, now that he's wide awake might as well accompanied his brother.

"I could ask you the same thing Captain, why didn't you rest?" Fang question his brother back, with a raised eyebrow. This almost make Kaizo flinched for the second time but then he remains calm.

" I-No reason..." Kaizo just shake his head a little since he doesn't want to say the truth. The truth that he was scared that if he falls asleep and was vulnerable at that state, completely unaware of his surroundings, he fears that his enemies will come and attack them--and he will possibly lose his brother.

"Hmm.." Fang wasn't having any of this to be honest. Despite his brother cold behavior he already knows that something was bothering him.

He slowly stand up from his place and went to take a sit next to his brother. Facing the crackling fire. The flames illuminated the darkness, providing warmth and solace in the face of the cold night.

"It's so cold tonight huh? Brrr" Fang was shivering as he hug himself more. He was kinda glad that he brings along his long sleeves jacket. Kaizo remain silent but he let out a small laugh at his brother acts.

Now they're both remain silent and quiet, it was a comfortable silence accompanied with the sound of the calming breeze of the night.

"Abang"

"Hmm?"

Fang look towards his brother, Kaizo didn't look at him so, he followed Kaizo's gaze and look up at the clear night sky.

The night sky is brilliant with stars, a beautiful and serene sight, with a mixture of deep blues and inky blacks that looked like a vast and expansive canvas of shimmering stars. It was indeed an enchanting sight, filled with countless stars twinkling brightly in the dark sky.

"Do you think mom and dad is watching over us?"

A simple question. Though this also made Kaizo wonder as he hummed at his brother's question.

"Yeah, they're always watching over us, always stay closer and will always stays in our hearts" Kaizo had a gentle smile on him as he said this. Honest from his heart.

His gaze averted from the twinkling lights of the night sky to look at his little brother. His already grown-up little brother, he didn't know but sometimes he feels like his brother was still little, he kinda missed it.

"Since you're such a troublemaker they need to watch over you." Kaizo infamous smirks as he ruffles Fang's hair, making his messy hair more messy. Much to Fang's annoyance.

"Abang--stop it!" Fang glared at his brother who was just laughing and smirking in delightful. Still it's better to see him laughing though, even if it costs his hair.

"I didn't cause that much trouble though.." Fang pouted making Kaizo smirks even more.

"Whatever you say Pang"

"Hey it's Fang!"

"No, Pang"

"Fang!"

"Pang"

"Fan--"

"AAHH HELP ME BOBOIBOY!"

This made the two brothers to immediately look back to the source of voice. It was coming from the Indian boy, Gopal. Seems like he was having a nightmare or something because he was sweating so much and calling out for Boboiboy with his eyes closed sti6 and then he proceeded to sleep soundly like nothing happened. Sucking his thumb like a baby even.

"Aduh Gopal.." Fang just laughed awkwardly at his friend.

"Hmm.." Though for Kaizo, he just remain unfazed and not bothered by it.

So that night, both brothers stayed up more for some late night stories, reminiscing the past or just enjoying the night. It was a lovely night...
