Fang didn't think that much when suddenly he was given another mission right after he just finished yet another mission by the Commander.
He didn't mind after all it's his job.
He just hope he could only be given a moment to tell his Captain about his new mission but alas, the captain was within reach or was just busy and he just assumed that commander has already informed him about it.

After all they're supposed to be spending time together at the end of the day.

Well maybe they still can if he finnish early.

Fang's eyes were beaming with hope and determination at that thought. He has the motivation back whe he remembers how his elder brother, the cold blooded man, who would spoke in a stern yet gentle tone and had asked him to spend the time together.

Seemingly to go on a little trip.

"There's this place..." The tall man who stand in front of him- just in front of his bedroom. With crossed arms as he leans besides the doorway, his face was serious as always but the nervous tone he had made it so out of character.

"Well if you don't remember..mom and dad used to take us to the beach..." Kaizo started off slowly and awkwardly which is not like him. Scratching his cheek from embarrassment, he fake cough before looking back at him.

"And well...there's a festival there too. Carrot--"

"Say no more let's GO!"

With how awkward their relationship is, Fang couldn't help but smile brightly at how his brother tried to reform their brothership back. He admitted Kaizo had neglected their relationship, slowly but surely despite the awkwardness.

That's why he needs to go back home early so they can bond together. Like brothers again...

He just didn't think that he might be the one to ruin the bonding time.

Fang was stupid.

He didn't think that letting your guard down for a moment will make everything goes downhill.

Oh. He was really stupid.

Now here he was shaking and breathing heavily while trickle of bloods keep coming down his face. He tighten his grip on the shadow sword he made, and pointed it at the bastard- known as the alien hunter who had manages to attack him.

The unexpected ambush took him completely by surprise and changed the entire situation.

The mission was meant to be a quick and simple one, just a bit of observation and retrieval work. He wasn't expecting any kind of danger or trouble, as he thought the deserted lab on this old planet would be completely empty and abandoned.

"Ughh.." Fang staggered back and barely dodge when another blow of fireball was thrown at him by the alien hunter.

The pain of the wound was intense and unbearable, and he knew that he had made a mistake by not staying vigilant and letting his guard down. The regret was eating him up inside and he wished he had taken the situation more seriously and been more cautious.

Oh what will his Captain say...

"This will be your end you pathetic agent-!!" The cackling alien was already lunging towards him, taking out another sword and aiming at him.

Fang clicked his tongue in annoyance and also lunges forward. He used his shadow manipulation power to create a sharp spear of shadow and aimed it directly to the hunter's chest.

It's like that time when he fought with Boboiboy Halilintar, their intense fight that leaves a lot of damage.

Just like now--

Each of their fight had caused damage to the walls just from the sheer force of their attacks, while the hunter's explosive sword had caused a huge explosion behind him just barely missing him. The explosion was enough to send him flying back and causing a massive shockwave.

Then silence envelope the whole room, and the sound of heavy breathing from him can be heard. That is until he heard the thud sound which signified that the enemy had fallen and hopefully had-- died.

Adrenaline still flowing through his veins and leaving him to still stand for a moment before falling as well, barely alive from the damage and injuries he had sustained.

Despite his successful attack however, the alien managed to get one last strike in and stabbed him as well, he can feel the blood loss and pain had caused him to faint and fall to the ground, bleeding out and losing consciousness.

Now he was laying on the cold ground and feels blood slowly flowing out of him from his abdomen. He shivers slightly and took a shaky breath.

"Ah. This is bad.." Fang smile grimly.

He closes his eyes as he can feel the tears forming. God. He was tired, he was in pain and know he really wish this was just a nightmare for him. He wants his Captain. He wants his brother-

Please.

Beep-

Fang flinch slightly when the beeping sound was coming from his own power watch. It was flickering constantly signaling that there was someone trying to call him- reach him.

Ah...

Fang smile bitterly.

It was his Abang.

Now for once in his lifetime. He realizes perhaps it's alright to be selfish for once. Selfish enough to not worried his brother and just want to hear him one last time. Really that would make his feel in peace-

"--Pang?"

A tear slipped down his cheek as he finally hears the familiar voice of his older brother. His only family left. Only when the darkness gets to him was he realizes-

Ah- My brother is going to be alone.

So he muster up one last final breath and spoke softly to his brother for one last time.

"For Leaving You, I'm sorry...Abang."
