There was a moment of silence between the two brothers, it wasn't intense like before but rather awkward and uncomfortable one.

Kaizo wasn't sure what is there left to say, right now he's having a massive heavy headache which greatly annoyed him right now.

He was itching for something. A fight-

"...Kaizo." His brother seemed to have read his mind somehow and interrupt his mischievous thoughts. He looks rather nervously and at the same time serious too, a small smile was seen. "It's a nice name.. I assume you already know mine right?" His brother voice comes out rather timid, not as he remembered his captain used to be.

Kaizo hadn't seen this part of his brother before, so nervous, he looks really...

"Weird."

Kaizo deadpanned. Fang grimace.

"Ouh." Fang had a confused expression on him and Kaizo just realized he said it out loud.

"Ah- I.. didn't mean that. Sorry." Kaizo swallowed down a lump, his throat feels dry than usual. A heavy cough again and his frowns deepens at that.

His brother straightening his back in alarm as he had the serious expression on him again. The older man reached out for a glass of water on the table and also a packet of pills before he handed the glass to kaizo.

Kaizo was reluctant to have any of the human's medicine since he's not sure it's going to help that much, but his brother seems persistence, with the way he gave a stern look. Well, It's not like he can defies his brother's order.

He shakily (he curse himself for being weak) take the glass with a frown, and drink it for a while. He can see his brother taking out a pill from the packet, Kaizo grimace, he had never likes pills.

"Here Kaizo, this can help you." Fang handed the pill to him and Kaizo sigh.

He take a look at the white pill before immediately eat it and downs the water in one go. Letting out a yuck sounds.

Fang chuckle fondly at the reaction before he stopped to think for a while. Now, why does he seem comfortable with the kid that's trying to kill him?

"I...figured you have a lot of things to explain now, don't you think?" Fang crossed his arms out of habit and leans back on his seat, eyes still on the little boy. "Like, why did you attacked me earlier?" Fang's gaze turned cold at the memory.

Truly, he wasn't fond of being attack all of sudden.

Kaizo flinched -Fang's not sure if it's because of the question or something else- before he closed his eyes, seemingly to calm himself.

"I..." Kaizo started slowly. Clenching his fist before he sighed. "I'm sorry about that."

Fang tilted his head to the side, urging for him to continue.

"I was...not in my right mind at that time." He said truthfully, and it's obvious because he was sick.

"Yeah, kinda figured." Fang shrugged mindlessly. Kaizo grimace.

"I didn't mean to attack you. I'm sorry" He looks down in shame, he truly was. "I'm really sorry.."

Fang couldn't help the aching feeling in his heart when the boy continue to apologies. But what he really needs to know was-

"It's fine but what I'm really curious was..." Fang leaned forward more into the boy, his crimson eyes reflecting the younger one. "Is who are you?" He stared curiously and blankly.
