Hope is such a fragile thing. Sometimes when you think that things are better it will all be crushed in just an instant, at least in Kaizo's whole life. He just couldn't bother to bring himself to hope for something good really, it will only hurt him in the end. Even though he had claims that he was used to it-

But fixing his relationship with his brother, Fang. He couldn't help but hope that they can mend their brotherhood again.

They had talked, setting their mistakes behind and now..he guess it's a good thing.

He prays that the universe won't make a twisted turn to ruin what he had, it was enough tht he lost both his parents he couldn't lose his little brother. Not after they had actually learn to love each other.

(He should have known better than to be at the Mercy of the universe.)

"oh?" He didn't mean to sound so surprised but he is just slightly caught off guard.

"Good morning Captain!" Those earthlings greeted him with a wide smile and so full of energy in front of his door, except for the other boy who's still sleeping while standing, which had earned him a hard smack on his rib by the ponytail girl. Now, he wondered what they're all doing in this early morning on his spaceship.

He leaned against the wall with an unamused face. "Good morning.." He raised an eyebrow at them, specifically at his own brother. "What do you need. Money?"

The happy face from before immediately soured. "Why do you always assume that i want your money? I have my own salary." Fang pouted, but he won't complain if his brother do wants to give him some pocket money.

"That's what you usually asked for."

"It was just back then-"

"Even now actually." Kaizo smirks.

Fang groaned a little annoyed but just refrained back from any further insults. "Whatever Let's just leave.." The purple haired boy slowly turned around, but there's a hint of nervousness on his eyes that said he didn't come here for now reason.

Kaizo immediately reached out for the boy's shoulder, stopping them. "I didn't even kicked you out yet." Fang glares.

"C'mon Fang we're already here let's not start a fight now." The other dino boy hero- he really needs to learn all their names again -tried to console his brother. "What's this about now?" Now this had make Kaizo a bit curious, if not because his little brother doesn't want to meet him in the eye.

"Noth-"

"Fang just missed you so so much captain that he couldn't sleep a wink at night." Gopal immediately blurted out so suddenly and so casually as if he didn't put himself in a death situation. The others just smile awkwardly.

"What? It's true." The oblivious boy didn't realize just yet that Fang was relishing such a murderous aura.

"You missed me?"

He can't deny that it was kinda a joyous feeling that his brother still missed him, despite their slightly estranged relationship, true that they're on a better term but still it might have been a little awkward in some way.

Fang just averted his gaze to the side before letting out a sigh. "I'm sorry for bothering you. it's childish-"

"I've missed you too." Not wanting to hear the nonsense Kaizo just go ahead and dropped the bomb, making the little boy eyes widen. It hurts him slightly at how shocked he is.

"I assume you all will be going on a mission?"

They're all wearing their full uniform when it's supposed to be their holiday season.
