MHA: Harbinger of Fear - Male Reader x Midnight

Preface

This story's been a passion project of mine for well over four years now. It went through one revision, two year-long hiatuses, and finally a total edit and rewrite.
Right now it's my attempt at making the world less about Deku and his escapades and more about an adult who experiences the horrors unseen in the anime. Which is more gritty and grounded than anime-ish.
Personally, it works a lot better than the dozens of tropes and generic things anime has nowadays. So yeah, I won't curtesy around death or gory details like the earlier seasons the show does.

Overpowered characters were always something fun to write. But that's not to say any of the ones I wrote were perfect or flawless in what they do and decide. That's what makes things outside of battle more interesting and that's what this story focuses on most.
This was more of a 'what-if' more than an inspiration. I just thought it would be fun if a Hit-inspired character was in MHA. And yeah, it's a joy to write.
But there's also things like romance, fluff, and feel-good moments. If you never read any of my other works then just know that I'm a sucker for fluffy relationships.
And there's also some things relating to Hit and some more things taken from Dragon Ball. But nothing like other characters or elements. Just a Hit-inspired character. Nothing less and nothing more.
