"Shubi, I don't think I like niyati anymore" Ishan spoke in the middle of their promised movie. The previous week was packed and they had 2 more matches. But, it was all over. An exhausting week deserves a day of pampering. And Sunday is the day.

This came in a few days after the episode. Shubman wasn't shaken, he knew this was going to happen sooner or later,

Ishan seemed off since the valentines.

"Do you want to talk about it or no?" Shubman asks patiently without questioning ishan's thoughts.

"not right now but, I'll tell you when I can" Ishan answers engrossed in the movie and munching on the wheel chips.

"Enough of your romance, pass me the chips," Rishabh says interrupting their conversation.

"Are you jealous that you don't have a girlfriend Rishabh?" Shreyas asks who was holding Rahul's hands. The horror movie was definitely scary.

"You guys have no life partners and have decided to have romance with your best friends. Why would I be jealous about that?" Rishabh adds

"Ouch bhai, As if Isha Bhabhi is here with you" Shubman says trying to tease him back. Ishan told all of them about the breakup, Everyone was shaken at the beginning but they remained mum about it. They didn't want to hurt him any more than that.

Shubman, Ishan, Shreyas, Rahul and Rishabh decided to sneak out of their rooms at 10 p.m. for this movie. A horror one.

"We're going to be so dead if Rohit bhai finds out," Rahul says being the wisest one of all five. It was definitely not noticed that he should have told this way sooner, way before the movie even started.

"Rahul, you do know that the movie is almost ending?" Shreyas says still gripping onto his hands. Shreyas gasps as the ghost appears again.

"Who was that stupid who decided to bring us to an English horror movie at 10?"

"Ahem, ahem" Ishan coughs at that mention and stays silent about it.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh" Kuldeep screams. Where was he all along?

Oh yeah, he was definitely there with Siraj.

"At least we aren't the only ones getting our asses whooped" Ishan sighs deeply as he looks around and finds the duo.

The movie ends and everyone gets out of the hall, Shubman checks the time and exclaims:

"Abe, it's 1 already. Let's stay out today."

"that is a very bad idea," Jaddu says.

"A very bad one indeed." Rohit bhai says as Virat and Shami bhai hum along.

"Bhaiya, i- I am so sorry. I didn't want to go but ishu forced me" Rahul says shivering in fear but Rohit Bhai smiles at them and says looking towards where Virat, sky, Shami and Bumrah are standing.

"What say, should I forgive them today?"

"Give them a punishment, let them stay out today as our dear shubi said" Sky suggested.

"No bhai, I sincerely apologise" He says bowing down.

"We all apologise bhai" Ishan butts in as he felt guilty. it was his idea in the first place.

"Arey ishu, it's okay" Rohit chuckles ruffling the latter's hair locks.

The group of friends heaved a collective sigh of relief, grateful for Rohit Bhai's forgiving nature. The tension melted away, and they found themselves laughing at the unexpected turn of events.

"Thank you, bhaiya!" Shubman grinned, relieved that their night wasn't going to end in punishment.

"Alright, you guys got lucky this time. But remember, next time, no sneaking around without permission," Rohit warned, his tone playful.

"Agreed, bhai," Ishan nodded, feeling a mixture of gratitude and guilt.

As they walked back to their rooms, Shreyas couldn't help but tease Rahul, "Well, at least your first horror movie experience was memorable, right?"

Rahul rolled his eyes, "Yeah, memorable for all the wrong reasons!"

The group dispersed, each heading to their respective rooms. Shubman, Ishan, and Rishabh found themselves alone in the hallway.

"Ishan, you sure you don't want to talk about what's bothering you?" Shubman asked, genuine concern in his eyes.

Ishan sighed, "It's just... things haven't been the same since Valentine's. I thought everything was fine, but now... I don't know."

Rishabh chimed in, "Maybe give it some time, buddy. Relationships have ups and downs. It doesn't mean it's the end."

"Yeah, you're right," Ishan nodded, a hint of uncertainty still in his eyes.

The next day, the routine resumed, and the cricket matches continued. However, the dynamics within the group had shifted slightly. Ishan seemed quieter, and the friends were more careful not to bring up the topic of relationships.

One evening, as they sat in the hotel lounge, Rohit approached Ishan. "Ishan, I hope everything's okay. If you ever need to talk, I'm here."

Ishan appreciated the gesture and managed a small smile, "Thanks, bhaiya. I'll keep that in mind."

Rohit bhai smiled and returned to his room saying that Samaira would be waiting leaving Ishan and Shubman alone. They went back to their shared room.

Ishan stared deeply at shubman as if he were studying philosophy.  Shubman's brown orbs were mesmerizing. They had their own magnetic properties, stronger than the strongest.

He wondered how Sara refused this man, how could she even find the guts to reject a man like shubman. Apart from having looked like the Greek god, he had a charismatic personality as well. All props to Ishan.

Ishan was definitely messed up after the breakup. He felt like he had broken his old glasses and was looking through the world with new lenses on,

A world that only screamed shubman repetitively.

But, this wasn't natural at all, how dare he think of a man like that. Imagine if this gets out to everyone. Everyone would be so disgusted of him, His parents, his brother, Rohit bhai, everyone in the team, and the media.

He has a great reputation and a good spot in the team. Everything would be lost in a blow if he kept thinking.

He slaps himself hard enough to get back to his senses. Startled by the sound, shubman looks back and caresses ishan's cheek. Ishan looks down and breaks apart from the touch.

"Shubi, should we go to the terrace? I'd like fresh air" Sometimes silence spoke a lot, Just this time, Ishan wished that shubman didn't hear what his silence spoke.

"Let's go" Shubman replies without hesitation. Ishan was having a hard time and all he wanted was to be there for him forever.

Ishan almost breaks out a sob at the perception of thinking about his friend who supported him through thick and thin.
