Dear self,
Pick a partner with a clear goal. Sometimes, people choose someone just because they look good. I've seen this happen a lot. It's important to look at more than just how a person looks. Looks are not the most important thing in a relationship.
Look at how they work, how they treat others, if they are friendly, if they have goals, how they talk with you, if they believe in themselves, and most importantly, if they have a good heart.
These things will be important when you have a family. Looks will not matter as much. You'll be left with someone you love because of who they are, not just how they look. Don't date someone just to pass the time.
Listen to my advice. If you don't see a future with them, don't interfere with someone else's future.
