Feelings are valid. You feel that. That is true for you. But this validity ends in the context of emotions that when we act irresponsibly based on our emotions, then by no means it is still valid.
Nainis ka? Valid yang inis mo. Pero kung ikaw mananakit ng ibang tao by words and action, then one is not being responsible.
Galit ka? Yes valid din yan! Pero kung ikaw ay magiging destructive then you are accountable for your own actions.
These negative behaviors should not be justified by only experiencing valid feelings because we "felt it."
We are responsible on how we manage our valid feelings so that we can produce behaviors that reflect adaptive characters in times of distress.
