For the longest time, I have been convincing myself that yellow remains my favorite color. However, today, I have finally realized that it's been years since I became obsessed with moss green.
I used to think that becoming a journalist was the key to fulfilling my dreams, but I changed my mind after graduation and decided to work as a teacher instead.
I used to enjoy going out with people, but now I don't even leave my room except for work.
Things really change, and I had to accept that concept quite roughly.
You see, not everything you fancied yesterday necessarily remains a part of your interests today.
Accept the new you. You don't have to be your 12-year-old self all the time. You don't have to be the big dreamer that you used to be. You don't have to be the active dancer that you were or to still be the most intelligent person in your batch.
The new you has gone through so much, hence the changes. Embrace your new set of aspirations in life.
I still love yellow, though, but I'm letting go of it as my favorite color.
