i don't believe that there is someone out there that is perfect for me anymore. i've learned that love is all about choices, decisions and sacrifices. i think we have to stop entertaining the idea that there is someone "made for you" out there.

we are all made for ourselves, to survive on our own, we've done it for many years before we thought we found "the one". so yes you can live alone and independently, you don't need that someone to be in your life. love will strike again some day, but when it lasts, it will only last with hard work from both sides... and maybe the right time.

i want a time machine, so i could go back and maybe before— before everything. i don't know which i'd rather, erase it all and take all this pain away or live it all over again.

so i guess moral of the story is not every story gets a happy ending... no matter how hard you want it to be.

"hey, don't go there, it'll make you go crazy." drew noticed when i spaced out.

"it's not like i can control it." i smiled at her. "can i ask you a question?"

"yeah, what's up?" she nodded.

"why'd you still come?"

"because you're still my friend and i promised you i would come." she simply answered.

"but doesn't she need you right now?" i started fidgeting with my hands.

"it's not like i'm gonna be gone for months, not yet at least. it's just a couple days, she'll be okay." drew answered, i nodded and didn't say anything. i wonder how she feels about this, plus patrick accompanying me.

"where are jen and patrick?" i frowned.

"they went to figure out where your dorm location is." she answered.

"what? why would they go without me?" i frowned, looking for my phone.

"you were asleep and patty got a call that your things arrived." she explained.

"okay, then they should've woke me up." i sighed, clicking on jen's contact.

"hello sleepy head!" she answered.

"you should've woke me up." i told her.

"em, it's no big deal. we just grabbed the keys for you and put your boxes in the dorm. didn't unpack anything yet, and we're on our way back now." she explained.

"get dressed, we're all going out for breakfast!" patrick yelled into the phone.

"ooo yum." drew raised her eyebrows.

"you and i are gonna talk later." i warned jen and she laughed at me, hanging up the phone. "i hate her."

"you love her." drew corrected.

"is that my roomie i see?" isa peeked into our room.

"isa!" i smiled and hugged her.

"i see it's a whole party in here." she looked around the room.

"yeah that's drew, and patrick." i introduced isa to them. "guys, this is isa the roommate that i was lucky to meet before i got here."

"isa do you need help bringing something in?" patrick was on his handy man streak.

"i do but my dad and uncle are probably handling it, don't worry." she shook her head.

"hi you're gorgeous and your aura is so beautiful." drew's eyes sparkled.

"thank you, i like her." isa pointed at drew and looked at me. "so are you staying here tonight or do you have a room somewhere."
