Part 19 - Lizzie's secret is out

I woke up first and everyone thought that I win and began celebrating. Suddenly Josie also got up.

Josie says how come both of us are alive? Why the merge didn't happen?

Dad says maybe because you tried to merge at 17 years old maybe that's why.

Josie says no that's not the case.

I say Josie is right the merge should have worked but it didn't because there are no twins alive to merge.

Josie says what do you mean?

I mean this I show my fangs.

Josie says you turned yourself to escape the merge.

I say I was turned before you went dark. Sebestian turned me. I have been a heretic for 4 months now.

Josie says no, now I would kill you all.

I say you won't be doing that Josie I grab her hands and begin siphoning dark magic from her.

She screams as she is in pain and then she faints as the siphon the last bit of dark magic from her.

I let her fall on the floor.

I say I have siphoned the entire dark magic from Josie.

Dad says why didn't you say anything?

I say because of you dad. You would have treated me as if I was a monster who needs to be humanised by keeping me on animal blood. And that isn't right.

Dad outrageously says you have been on human blood. You could have been a danger to all the students.

I say yes I took bloodbags from the hospital. I wasn't being a danger. Mom is a vampire who feeds on human blood. And don't lie I know she does. She isn't even aware of the change in the vampire diet. Now stop yelling at me and look at your Disney Princess.

Dad says we are not finished Elizabeth.

I say we are done. Seeing your reaction, my decision to hide the truth was right. You say you save these children from judgements but who is going to save them, me from your judgements.

Dad says Elizabeth, I have seen things and I understand a lot. Give me some credit for it.

I say if it was the case then I wouldn't have to hide the fact that I am a heretic, Josie wouldn't be practicing dark magic in secret. You have failed us big time. I say if you have a problem with me being here on human blood then I will leave and never come back. That way you don't have to make any excuses for me.

Dad says Elizabeth, you don't know how the world works. You are too young.

I say I will figure it out. It's better that way than staying here on animal blood. One scratch and you feel extremely hungry and you vamp out. This was what happened when Alyssa got injured.

Dad says we will talk about this later. Think about it, we wouldn't accept you back until you follow the rules.

I say I have thought about it and nothing you say would change my mind. I am leaving this school for good. I am done with your bullshit dad. I am done with you.

I leave from there to go to my room and start packing.

MG brought Josie to the room and says are you serious Lizzie?

I say serious about what?

MG says about leaving.

I say yes MG I am dead serious. I don't agree with him that we should be on animal blood. My mom is on human blood and I can be too.

Suddenly Josie wakes up and she remembers everything thing and begins to cry. I didn't know what to do to comfort her so I just let her cry on my lap.

Suddenly we are called to the assembly hall.

Once everyone has assembled in the hall, dad begins the announcement..
He says both my daughters have broken school rules. This is not acceptable. One daughter hid the fact that she was a heretic and she was on human blood. While the other was practicing dark magic. She killed 6 students namely Alyssa, Penelope, Chad, Taylor, Max, and Danny. We cannot accept such sins being committed by our students. So we are banishing them from this school forever. The decision would lie on you students. You will vote whether you want Lizzie and Josie in the school or not.

No one says anything, they seem happy.

Josie was heartbroken and says you can't do this dad. I need this school and Lizzie too.

I say speak for yourself Josie. I am leaving this school. I had already told him that.

Josie says but Lizzie?

I say what Josie, he would want me on animal blood which isn't right. He would treat me as if I am a monster. And I deserve better than that.
