Uncle Kai says so you found the loophole to the merge.
I say it wasn't for the merge but someone turned me against my will. It was later I realised that the merge won't happen now with me being dead.
Uncle Kai says right. Why don't we get acquainted and try to get to know each other?
Josie says you break you word always.
Uncle Kai says why don't we do a magical oath that way I can't go back on my word?
Josie and I looked to each other and I say how does that work?
Uncle Kai says you have never done that before or heard about it?
Josie says no, we haven't. Now could you please tell us how this works.
Uncle Kai says follow me.
We followed him and found ourselves in the living area of the Salvatore boarding house. He was looking for a grimoire and he found it. He said read this and placed the book on the floor.
Neither of us made a move to pick up the book as we thought that Uncle Kai would attack us.
Uncle Kai says I won't attack you. Please pick up and read the grimoire.
Josie picked up the grimoire while I was keeping an eye on uncle Kai.
We begin reading the page of grimoire uncle Kai pointed out.
Magical Oaths
This is when a party of two or more swear to follow a set of guidelines, that must be agreed to by all sides. When the oath is sworn and enacted by sharing blood, neither party can break the deal or there would be extreme consequences.
The consequence for breaking oath :
-Possible death of the person who broke it (depends on the severity of breached the agreement).
- Extreme pain if broken
-Slight pain if the individual thinks about breaking the pact (reminds them of agreement)
-Cursed by magic itself (Violating the terms of the agreement is seen as an insult to magic itself)
Necessary Items:
-a circle of salt (In a star pentagon shape)
-Ten candles, that need to be lit for the spell to work (placed on at each point around star pentagon)
-a knife
How to do the Oath:
-First, these words must be spoken
*Naturalis magiae hæc juramenta iuramus quod non possit nisi utraque concordant in transgredientibus inficted dolor sit sacramentum*
-Then each person must cut both of their hands (If they have supernatural healing, the spell previously spoken will prevent healing)
-They must then interlock hands (one of them does their left to other's right and right to the other's left, allowing the blood to connect the caster's in mind, body, and magic
-Then each will take a turn swearing their oath in their native language.
-To know it is complete, a blue aura will appear around the party verifying the pact.
Both Josie and I were shocked reading this. This was too good to be true.
If we do this, what would we swear? I asked.
Uncle Kai thought for a moment before making a suggestion, "How about this...I will promise that... I won't try to harm you and your sister in any way, shape or form and you both promise that you both won't try to attack or hurt me; and won't prevent me from escaping. And we can add more to the deal as we write it. That way we can discuss how you came to be here like adults and then figure what happens next...sound good kiddo?"
I and Josie were quiet for a moment as we looked for any loopholes before we agreed to go along with it because it meant he would literally not be able to harm me and Josie.
The only downside was that if we found a way to escape, we would have to bring him with her.
But right now, we could care less about the danger it would put our bio dad in.
Yes that's right Alaric Saltzman is just our bio dad now, he is just DNA nothing else. Both me and Josie agree on that.
We begin the oath and when we were finished we were so tired from it.
Uncle Kai says now why don't you both tell me how you got here?
Josie looks down and I say I will tell you how we came here and holds Josie's hand.
Uncle Kai says ok. Start the story.
I say first you should know that I have OCD, GAD, Schizophrenia and DID. Because of this I have these episodes in which I end up hurting people and destroying things.
Uncle Kai says so you hurted someone during one of your episodes?
Uncle Kai was looking all concerned with zero sign of judgement Which I never got from bio dad.
I say no. Our mom Caroline Forbes Salvatore and bio dad Alaric Saltzman created a school for us where we could practice magic openly.
Josie joins in at first the school was doing great but then mom had to leave and find a way to save us from the merge. Then the things went downhill. Alaric Saltzman was in charge and he removed the offensive and advanced magic from the curriculum and forced the vampires to be in animal blood.
I say our bio dad were never there for us but gave full attention to another student Hope Mikaelson. He never acknowledged that I have mental illness. He would blame it on our bio mom's witch ancestors. Because acknowledging it would remind him that I am like you uncle Kai and he can't stand for that.
