"Okay Vaani you had your medicine now, close your eyes and relax, okay?" Unnati softly spoke, patting Vaani's forehead who laid on the bed and nodded hearing her.
She closed her eyes, a little less overwhelmed than before. Unnati kept patting her head but Vaani didn't sleep, "Nahi aarahi hai neend di,"
"try karo na," She said and looked at Shivank, who asked if he could do it. Unnati nodded her head at Shivank who entered the room and sat beside her. Unnati moved her hand away and now
Shivank patted her head softly unsecurely waiting for her reaction.
"Light band kardijiye di, neend aa rahi hai.." Vaani murmured and Shivank finally relaxed, actioning Dev to close the lights. Dev manav and unnati left the room after closing the lights while Shivank sat on the bed beside Vaani caressing her hair and patting her head.
In no time he heard soft snores coming from her and relaxed. He placed a kiss on her forehead and carefully covered her with a blanket.
He lets out a sigh, his hand cupped her face as he caressed her cheek, looking at the far asleep Vaani. His heart thuds.
How is their wedding life going to happen?
Will she even marry him?
Shrugging his thoughts off he got up the bed and placed another soft kiss on her forehead before leaving the room cautiously.
As Shivank closed the door behind him, the others immediately looked up, their faces filled with concern.
"Thik hai wo, so gayi hai," he reassured them, his voice cold. A visible wave of relief washed over their faces. Unnati, who had been sitting silently on the sofa, lowered her gaze, her hands clasped together as unshed tears welled up in her eyes.
