Main bhool gaya khud ko bhi, Bas yaad raha ab tu, Aa teri hatheli pe, Iss dil ko main rakh doon, Dil bol raha hai hasrat, Har hadd se guzarne ki, Tere naam se jeene ki. Tere naam se marne ki

Taking a slow, steady breath, I rang the bell at house number 608, my fingers lingering on the switch a second longer than needed, hoping I didn’t look like some desperate creep showing up at their door at night.

The door opened, and the guy stared at me in surprise. “Hey?” he asked, confused, brows slightly furrowed.

“Hi, I am Shivank Kashyup.” I said, extending my hand. He shook it warmly, and just then his girl walked up beside him, curious eyes studying me.

He slipped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her close in a natural, easy way. “Myself Manav Sehgal, and this is my wife Unnati… and, um, this is Shivank Kashyup” he said, introducing us. She smiled sweetly and shook my hand too. Without wasting another second, I handed over the packet I had brought for them.

“This is for you. Thank you for helping me. I was very tense at my wife’s behaviour.”

Unnati opened the packet and looked inside, surprise flashing across her face before she glanced at Manav.
