Do you all agree that we have a relation right? Of a reader and author. And in every relation there is 'Give and Take' but here it's just give-give. I reallllyy want to end this book soon.

What am I supposed to do?

I am just asking for 400 votes when I can clearly ask for 1k like other authors.

Everyone was back from dinner and a walk in the garden, setting the beds in the hall. Rekha was massaging Dev's head, occasionally hitting him playfully as she inquired about Neeti.

Vaani patted her pillow and lay on her side, sighing peacefully. Dev, finished with Rekha's massage, lay beside her, opening his book and resting on his arm next to Gaurav, who was already asleep.

Meanwhile, Shivank grumpily put his pillow down, pouting as he looked at Vaani. He sighed and lay down beside Gaurav. Noticing this, Rekha frowned. "Shivank," she called.

"Haan, maa?" Shivank raised his face to look at her.

"Tu wahan kyun so raha hai?" she asked in confusion.

"Maa, aapne he tho kaha tha na yahan sone ko," Shivank replied, equally confused.

"Arre, pagal chokra. Kal ki baat alag thi, aaj ki baat alag hai. Jaa Vaani ke paas jaakar soja," she shook her head in slight exasperation and got up, heading to her room.

Shivank grinned and swiftly moved Dev aside, tossing him to the other side. He approached Vaani, smiling sheepishly.

"Romeo kahin ka!" Dev muttered, covering himself with a blanket, while Gaurav's little arms and legs sprawled over him, making him sigh dramatically.

Vaani blushed, holding Shivank's hand and kissing the back of it before resting it under her cheek and closing her eyes contentedly. Shivank smiled, gently caressing her head. Finally, everything is good now, he thought. He kissed her forehead, nestled under her blanket, and hugged her closely, feeling a wave of peace wash over him.
