Shivank held Vaani's hand as they walked toward their home, his grip firm yet gentle on her delicate skin. With a soft click, he unlocked the main gate and stepped aside, letting her take it all in.

Her curious eyes wandered over the house from outside, wide and filled with silent wonder, almost like a child discovering something new.

"Andar nahi chalna kya, biwi?" he teased, his voice laced with warmth. Vaani smiled, stepping inside just as Shivank mobed unlocked the door to their home. She glanced at the stairs, which led to somewhere, and it caused her curiosity to grow more.

"Upar Manav aur Unsu ka ghar hai," he informed her, and she nodded, absorbing every detail around the doorway.

"Aap log ki dosti bahut pehle se hai?" she asked softly.

He chuckled, shaking his head. "Nahi... jabse tum meri life mein wapas aayi ho, tabse, kyunke jabse sab accha he hua hai." His voice carried an unspoken truth, a weight of emotions only he understood.

Finally, he pushed the door open, revealing a home decorated as if welcoming a new bride. Soft, artificial flowers adorned the walls, warm lights twinkled gently, and everything felt... wholesome and complete, almost comforting.

Vaani blinked in surprise, her heart fluttering at the sight. Shivank stepped away for a moment, leaving her standing at the threshold, her fingers nervously gripping the edge of her saree. She glanced around, the cozy seating arrangement, the familial warmth, it felt like a place she could belong to.

Before she could dwell on her thoughts, Shivank returned, smiling with grah pravesh essentials in his hands roughly kept in eagerness and hurry.

Their beginning had been anything but traditional. But this moment?

This was the start of something new. Their new journey, in their new home.

Shivank placed the grah pravesh essentials in front of Vaani, a kalash filled with rice, a thali with alta, and a small diya flickering softly. His gaze remained fixed on her, watching her every movement as if afraid she would slip away, his concern almost panic.
