Chapter 35
Ry's POV
Ghost and Chirs never showed up until four days after tour ended. My bandmates came to see me the other day. They begged me to come back because it sucked without me. I smiled and said I would come back. I just needed to get away. When everyone left but Blaze I broke down and told him everything. He held me and said shit happens and that it wasn't my fault that no one answered their phones.
Blaze told me that him and Chris have been talking about me. I knew they would. Both of them love me. I sighed because Chris would be here, and I have a feeling he would be upset with the way I left him.
"Ry time come down." Spoke my father.
I glanced at the clock on my wall and knew it was only noon. I sighed and got up. I was only in a long sleeve shirt and sweatpants. I didn't care what I looked like. I reached the bottom step and I saw both Ghost and Chris.
Chris made my heartbeat pick up where Ghost made me want to run and hide back in my room. My mother looked at me and said, "They just got in. So, we are going to have some lunch. Your father and I have somethings to do around town. We won't be back till morning."
I knew what she meant. 'Ry talk with your brother then make up with Chirs.' But I knew better than to tell them off. I knew that she was right, but I wasn't sure who to talk with first. I sighed and we all sat down. I took some food but didn't really eat. I haven't been eating much lately. My father looked at me and shook his head.
"So, Chris when were you going to tell me that you and my daughter have something going on between you two?" Asked my mother.
This was going to be a long lunch. I didn't dare look up from my plate. I could tell that Ghost was trying not to laugh.
"Well, I was hoping we could have talk about that when we got done with tour. But something came up and Ry left." was all that Chris said.
"Did you have sex with her?" Asked my mother being blunt as ever.
Dad nearly chocked and Ghost sighed, and Chris said, "No we haven't."
I sighed and glanced at my father, and I could tell he was a little upset with mom. She sighed and said, "Well at least your being honest."
I glared at my mother and said, "You can stop this."
"Ry you know we have-"
I got up and said, "I'm going to my room before you say something you shouldn't be saying."
I left the dining room. When they thought I was out of hearing ranged I listened into what they were saying.
"Ghost, Chris, I'm sorry. She's been hiding in her room. She told me what happened from day one all the way up to when she left tour. I'm pissed at you Devin; you are her big brother. You knew how much she and Cody were in love. Now she's in love with Chris. I just had to know how far she would let me question you, Chris. When she flipped out about me asking about sex, I knew she cared for you." Said mom.
"Honey we could have asked another way then ask our daughters boyfriend if they slept together or not. That is something that I don't really want to know because I am her father," said Dad.
Ghost sighed and said, "how bad has she been since she's been back?"
Mom sighed and said, "She's been listening to music. Won't come out for anything. Hell, she forgot to feed Spirit this morning. She doesn't forget about stuff like that when she's home."
I walked to my room because I didn't want to hear anymore. I sat on my bed and just staired at the wall. I didn't know what to do. I don't know how to talk with my brother about anything what happened.
I heard my parents leaving. I laid down and just drifted off to sleep.
Chris POV
I saw her. She still looked beautiful, but I could tell that she hasn't been eating. I ached to just go over to her and hold her in my arms and kiss her. Yet I knew I couldn't. I promise Ghost to wait until he talks with her, if she would listen to him.
I was shocked when her parents asked me if I slept with her. I was honest when I told them that I haven't. But did I want to tell them that we have almost slept with each other, hell no. I love her parents, but her mother was nosy. I sighed and watched her get pissed and walked away.
Her parents left shortly after we were done eating. I was helping Ghost clear the table. I glanced to where Ry was sitting and noticed that her plate was untouched. I wanted to say something, but Ghost sighed and said, "I remember when she would do this. We used to get mad at each other and she would leave without eating. I know she hasn't really been eating."
I was shocked that he would notice this. Ghost and I finished cleaning up the dining room. Once that was done, he looked at me and said, "I'll show you where you can stay for tonight. I'm hoping that she'll let me in to talk with her."
Ghost showed me the room next to hers, he looked at it and said, "This is her book room. I know she keeps a bass there to. There is a small bed. You can stay in that room. I'll go try and talk with her."
I walked into the room and was shocked to see all the books that she has. I looked around and saw so weird looking ones. I remember she was saying something about Manga and looking around I saw twilight, vampire diaries, vampire academy, then shiver. That one looked like a wolf story to me. I glanced around and saw a picture of her when she was younger. She looked happy. I set my things down and laid down on the bed. I could smell her sent from her room. I drifted off to sleep until I heard her yell at her brother, but I promised to stay out of it.
