I got myself cleaned up for our date, we were going to head out at around five for dinner, and then head to the joke shop for some alone time. I curled my hair and did some makeup. I put on a sweater and some shorts with my sneakers. I looked at myself once in the mirror and smiled. I walked down the stair to see Fred waiting for me at the door, his hands in the pockets of his jeans. He was wearing a tee shirt with a flannel over it, and some loose jeans. He smiled at me.
"You look beautiful." he said, kissing me.
"Thank you, you look good yourself."
He grabbed his wand and put it in the inside of his coat.
"Do you want your wand?"
"No, it's just Diagon Alley right?"
"Yea I don't think you'll need it." Fred said.
"Than let's go!"
We walked out of the borrow and Fred gave me his arm.
"You ready?"
"Yeah."
I took his arm as he apparited us to Diagon Alley. When we got there there were these lights hung around. The weather was perfect, it wasn't too hot, infact I could feel a bit of wind. I looked around at the Alley and it didn't look the same as it had in the previous years. It just looked dull. I could spot the joke shop tho, it was kinda hard to miss. Even though it was closed it had a cheerful glow that was always there.
"So where do you want to eat? There's Wizards Wings, Leaky Cauldron, and Fish for Flyers."
"I don't want Fish and Chips, their Fish and Chips are good but I'm not really feeling it."
"Leaky Cauldron?" Fred suggested.
"Sure."
We walked the street on our way their, looking around at the different people walking about. The alley was usually a hot spot for people in the summer. Some of the shops were abandoned and some were still running at 100%. But now it's more dull and super quiet.
When we got there we were sat immediately. They said that Fred was a legend around these parts and that they were happy to see us. We were sat and got our drinks in a matter of seconds.
"Well some of the perks of dating a celebrity I guess." I joked.
"A celebrity?"
"Yeah you're famous!"
"Well the shops actually getting a lot of attention, we're excited to see it during school time though, hopefully that's a good way to attract more money. Cause we're not gonna be famous forever, the traction will wear off eventually."
"I don't think so, I think you guys are just so creative that you will forever keep having interested customers and different stuff. All of your ideas are just so creative and I'm so proud of all the stuff you've been doing the past months."
"That means a lot thank you Win."
"Of course."
The waitress came up to us and took our orders. I ordered a classic Steak and a Butterbear and Fred ordered a Shepherd Pie and a Butterbear. Once the waitress was gone we started talking about the most random things. We laughed and once our food came we digged in.
"This is delicious!" Fred said.
"It's good, we're getting dessert though right?"
"If that's what Win want's that's what she'll get."
