We sit at a table at Hogwarts. We were taking a break from cleaning the castle. Fred didn't let go of my hand the whole time we sat there. He fidgetted with my ring and drew little circles on my knuckles. He was a man of few words that day, both of us were. I think we were both just overcome with gratitude that we were both still alive and breathing. Still with eachother, still going to get married, still going to have a future together.
I couldn't read his mind, but I bet he's thinking about what would happen if events went differently. When the person who was talking to me stopped I placed my hand ontop of his. He looked at me and I smiled.
"I know." He leans in and kisses my cheek, standing up to go somewhere. I rest my head on my hand as Lili comes up to me.
"Alive and breathing?"
I turn to look at her, "Thankfully."
"Are you okay?" She asks.
"I'm doing okay, I mean, my mind won't stop moving at 1000 miles per second, I feel like it wants to overwhelm me with what ifs and if onlys. I just can't escape it." I lean my head on her chest and start crying. She rests her head on top of mine and rubs my back.
"You'd be crazy if you weren't emotional. I feel like all of our minds are going crazy." She looks down at the table, "Instead of thinking about all the sadness in the world and all the stuff that's going on what now, think about what's going to happen. Think about what's in store for the future."
I look up at her and laugh, "You wouldn't be talking about a certain event?"
"Nooo."
I laugh and rest my head on her shoulder, "I'm glad you're here."
"I'm glad you're here too." She replies.
I hug her and we stay there in a comfortable silence. We look out into the sky as the sun starts coming out, showing us that even though there's darkness in the events that just happened, we can always look to the light.

We stay in bed till noon, not moving from eachothers arms. We don't do anything, not even talk. We stay there just with eachother. We hear Lili and George in the other room watching television but we don't leave from ours. The most Fred does is squeeze me everynow and then, but most of the time we're drifting in and out of sleep. When we finally get up it's 4 and we go to make food. Fred goes to talk to George and I prepare something to eat. I stand next to the counter and stare down at my hands. Fred comes up to me and sits on the counter facing me.
"Hi." He says.
"Hi, I made some pasta, that's really all I wanted to make."
"That's okay." He looks at me, "Come here."
I walk over inbetween his legs and hug him. He hugs me back and rubs my back. We pull apart and I put my hand on his cheek. His eyes are watery, I pull him in for a kiss, he doesn't hesitate. Our kiss isn't like how it normally is, it's more loving and I can tell the both of us really mean it. It's the bittersweet feeling of the fact we were so lucky while most weren't. We came out of the war with no one we loved passing, but tons had loved ones die in the battle. It's an indescribable feeling.
The water boils over and I laugh, pulling away from the kiss. Fred groans as I look back at him, "Oh shush." He laughs as I drain the water. I make us food and we get serving, we sit at the table as George and Lili get some share. There still isn't much said, just silence. We're all coping with all the emotions, it'll take sometime for things to go back to normal, but once they do I'll be even more greatful for how lucky we were.

"Winnifred Benson you get your cute butt down here and let me see you!" Lili yells down. I stand in front of a mirror, in a white dress with flowly sleeves and vines. I try to hide my tears as I take a deep breath. I smile at myself.
