The Weasleys had taken me to the train along with the twins, Percy, and Charlie. My mum had told me that she couldn't attend cause she had an urgent call to the wizarding school in America. I didn't ask much about it but I'm gonna be honest I didn't really care, I was just overwhelmed and excited to get to Hogwarts.

Molly was getting the twins heads connected to their necks with Percy and me were waiting on the wall. Percy looked over at my singular trunk. I didn't have much to bring other than my trunk and my cat.

"Is that all you need for the whole year?"

"Oh no, my mum hasn't bought my books yet."

"Well you'll probably need that, like, badly."

"No I know, I'll be fine."

Charlie then looked over at me, "I respect your carefree attuitude."

"Thank you. But yeah this is all I can bring right now, my mum will send in a package with the rest this week."

Percy shrugged his shoulders, going back to reading his book.

"Whatever works for you." Charlie said, leaning back on the wall.

I looked around at the station, kids were getting their stuff ready, getting into the train, and saying emotional farewells to their parents. I sort of evnyed them, wishing my parents were here. But I shrugged it off, just looking forward again to Hogwarts.

"Alright boys, and Winnie, let's go!" Molly says, her hand on Fred's ear.

I chuckled under my breath, somehow Fred heard it and stuck out his tongue at me.

When we got onto the bus I sat with the twins. Percy had found his other stuck up friends and Charlie went to go sit with his Quidditch friends. I sat there looking out the window. The twins were talking to Lee Jordon who was also in the cart with us. George had invited me into their cart, and since I didn't have anywhere else to sit I descided to sit there. Lee was talking to Fred, who was next to me, about something Quidditch and George, across from me, was looking out the window.

I looked around the cart at the bags that were above our seats, and just looked at anything I could to avoid either being in the conversation, or staring too long into someones eyes awkwardly. The whole ride was me just kinda zoning out and the twins and Lee talking. I just kinda sat there. When they had all gone to the trolley I went to go to the bathroom, there was a huge line into the girls room and I sighed, standing next in line.

My first year was a completely different person than I am now. I was shy and super closed off, didn't really wanna make friends. But thats when I met her and things started to change.

The girl in front of me had really pretty hair, her hair was pulled into a low ponytail, and her bangs were out all over her face. She was leaning on the wall, messing with her fingernails. She was peeking over at the boys restroom, mummbling something to herself. I looked over at her with a puzzled expression.

Note to self - I need to get better at subtling staring at people, because after looking at her for over 5 seconds she turns over raising an eyebrow.

"One." She says, "Follow me."

She sneaks into the boys restroom, peeking down at the bottom of the stalls. She takes out a piece of paper with the words, "Out of order" and placed it on the door, flicked her wand, and shut the door.

"Go ahead and use the bathroom now, surely you didn't wanna wait in that line." She said, going into a stall.

I walked into another stall, closing it behind me.
