The Battle of Hogwarts

It was just another day, I was reading in the living room while Fred and George were talking in a room. I took no attention to this because I was focusing on my book, but when George came almost running out of the room I closed my book and stood up. Fred came behind him putting his jacket on. 

"Hey."

"Oh hey." 

"What's going on?" 

Fred puts his head down, "It's time."

I walked over to the jar we keep our wands in and grabbed mine. I went to grab my jacket when Fred started shaking his head. 

"No." 

"What?"

"What are you doing?"

"I'm going with you." I said. 

Fred followed me around shaking his head, "No Winnie, only me and George, please stay here."

I sat down at the table and cleared my throat.

"Why?" 

"Why? Because I can't let you go in." 

"Why not?" 

"Because." 

"Because is not a suitable answer." 

Fred cleared his throat, "Please just, I can't let you go in." 

"Why?" I ask again, this time more stern. 

"Winnie I just don't want you to go in and fight, it would be too risky!" 

"Fred it's my-"

"And I just can't let you go and risk your life. If you could die and I could've done something I wouldn't be able to forgive myself." 

"Freddie. I am not weak."

"No Winnie, I just can't let you."

"Fred, it's my school too!"

"I can't loose you!" He finally yells, slaming his fist on the table. I flinch back and he realizes what he did. He takes hold on my head and spun the ring around my finger.

"I'm sorry, Winnie. It's just for years I had to watch you go from boy to boy, all of them treating you terribly, and now I finally get you to myself, you're finally with me and your finally my girlfriend. Better yet my fiancée. I can't loose you in battle, if I did I couldn't live with myself."

I let out a deep breath, "Which is exactly why you're not going in alone."

"I won't be alone, George and my family will be there."

I take my hands from his and look at him. "Freddie, you think that if I loose you I could live with myself? I wouldn't get over the fact I wasn't there to help you."

"Please Winnie, just please."

Fred was paranoid, he and George were on their way to the Borrow, and setting of to battle. But I couldn't just let him go. I was very set on going with him but when he put down my suggestions on me coming with him he got a little aggressive. I ended up telling him that if I get word from the battle that it's getting worse I'm coming. But that was a lie. My brother is in there right now, spending his 3rd year there, he'll still be there once the battle starts. I wasn't going to risk that.

I waited a few minutes once Fred and George left. I got dressed and threw my hair into some bubble braids, grabbed my wand and a broom and I flew to Hogwarts, yes the whole way there.

Fred's POV:

Me and George arrived at mum's. The attention was at an all time high. All of the family went to 12 Grimmuald Place to meet up with the rest of The Order. I couldn't let Winnie join, even though there is a big chance she won't do what I ask. But if I see her in the battle I won't hesitate to stay by her side the whole time. Never letting her out of my site, and protecting her with my life. Better yet if anyone touched her they would die. I fidgetted with a necklace she got me for my birthday as The Order told us what was going to happen.
