"Today we acknowledge, a really terrible loss. Cedric Diggory was as you all know, exceptionally hard working, intricately fair minded. And most importantly a fierce, fierce friend. I think therefore you have the right to know exactly how he died. You see, Cedric Diggory was murdered by Lord Voldemort. The ministry of magic does not wish me to tell yuo this. But not to do so I think would be an insult to his memory." Dumbledore speaks in Cedric's ceremony.

"Now the pain we all feel at this dreadful loss reminsd me, reminds us that while we may come from different places, and speak in different toungues, our hearts beat as one. In light of recent events that bonds of friendshup we made this year will be more important than ever. Remember that and Cedric Diggory will not have died in vain, you remember that. And we'll celebrate a boy who was kind and honest and brave and true right to the very end."

The end of the ceremony was a blur, I wasn't totally listening either. I walked back to the comon rooms quickly and quietly. Lilian was next to me but she didn't say anything, not wanting to impose. As I packed up my stuff I felt numb. I couldn't believe it really, I was still processing it kinda. Cedric, he was gone. As I walked to the train Lilian was talking about Danny, and how he was starting to show his true self more, and that she really does like him but doesn't want to try things with him again. I told her that you never know how much time you have with someone. To this she sighed.

"I'm sorry I'm talking about this, I can stop if you want!" She saids.

"No it's fine, it won't change anything, it's kinda soothing, like keeping my mind calm..." I sighed.

Lilian walked next to me as we came closer to the train. As we were getting in she then started to talk about how unprofessional the tournament was, like how a death-eater under impression of Mad-Eye Moody could easily come into Hogwarts and rig the tournament. How it was absouletly unacceptable, and that they basically killed Cedric because of their shitty security. I just noded to these accusations and just made my way to the train car.

As we settled into the train car Lilian drifted off to sleep on my shoulder. I read my book and just sat there, listening to Lilians quiet snores. A few minutes later the trolley lady came by, I told her that I didn't want anything and Lilian woke up to the sound of her voice.

"Oh me, I want two pumkin thingys!" Lilian yelled, getting up and quickly reaching in her pocket.

"Thank you!!" She said as she sat next to me.

"Are you always this hyper once you wake up?" I asked.

"I don't know, you live with me!" Lilian opened the pasties and stuffed her face. She smiled and chuckled, "I love these things!"

I smiled and took from my bag a bag of crisps, I opened them and offered some to Lilian but she was too caught up in her pasties. I smiled as we kept going on the tracks, my mind seemed to forget the depression I was in for the rest of the school year. But that was soon broken as a group of kids passed by our cart talking about him. I sniffed and looked down at my book, pried open halfway through. Lilian looked at me.

"It's okay to still be sad y'know." She said, crumbling up her trash.

"I know."

"I mean it was only yesterday."

I stumbled on my words as Lilian just stared at my blankly.

"I mean, it's not like I'm not happy, or I'm not completely sad. It's just that I'm trying to heal in a healthy way."

"I know, but your boyfriend just died..."

"I don't really wanna talk about it right now Lily." I said.
