Lauren's P.O.V
Cam is coming over and i'm very nervous.
I decided to redo my make-up before he arrives. When I had finished redoing my make-up I took one last glance at myself. I looked pretty good. Don't get me wrong. I'm not in love with myself.
I went downstairs and started cooking for Cameron and I. I cooked his favorite which is Chicken enchiladas. My mother would always make us that when Cameron stayed over when we were younger. I miss those times.
I took my phone and decided to listen to some music while cooking. after 5 minutes of trying to find the right song I finally found it. It was - I never told you by Colbie Caillat.
I started dancing as I got lost in the music.
" Nice dance moves" A voice said behind me.
" Shit, How long have you been here?" I asked and faced Cameron.
" Long enough." He said and laughed.
" Well, if you make fun of me you're not getting any chicken enchiladas." I said teasing him.
" I love you." He said jumping to me and hugging me.
I felt shivers.
" Are you cold?" He asked.
" No... Just..."
"Just what?" He said curious.
" It's nothing." I said and faked a smile.
" Laurie, I know when something's wrong and there's definitely something going on. You can tell me, I'm your best friend." Cameron said. " You can tell me anything and everything." He said smiling.
" Okay, I just don't know... How to say this Cameron." I said shaking.
" Com'n, sit with me." Cameron said and patted the empty seat beside him.
" The reason I called you over..." I said.
" Yeah?..." Cameron said and I found him getting nervous.
When Cameron's nervous he does this thing with his hands, lick his lips a lot, and strokes his hands through his hair.
" Em told me." I said as I looked down at the floor.
" I could've guessed so." Cameron said stroking his hand through his hair.
" So, uh.. How are you feeling about this." Cameron asked after awhile of awkward silence.
" I guess i'm okay." I said but regretted it as soon as the words came from my mouth. I should've told him I loved him too.
" That's good, I hope nothing changes because of this." Cameron said and made an awkward smile.
I smiled at how awkward he was. It's so cute!
" Cam?" I suddenly said.
" Yeah?" He said.
" I...I...... Never mind." I said.
" Lauren! Just tell me." Cameron said loud but not to loud though.
" I.. I can't." I said.
I looked down to the floor again. I don't want our friendship to change. I love our friendship.
When I looked at Cameron he looked straight into my eyes.
" Cam.. I..."
Before I finished my sentence he crashed his lips on to mine. We kissed for about 2 minutes with breathing of course.
" I love you Lauren Collins. I think I always have." Cameron said and looked me straight into the eyes.
" Cameron." I said.
" Yeah?" He said.
" I... I love you too."
