A/N: I just realized that I used the names Noah and Liam for y/n's brother in the previous text. To clear up any confusion, y/n has only one brother who is looking for a school in America, and his name is Noah. Apologies for any confusion!
Y/n's POV:
"Did it seriously take you that long to get food?" Noah complained, stabbing at his half-cold takeout and switching channels on the hotel room TV. I rolled my eyes. "Uh, yeah! At least I try to enjoy the time we have in America!"
"Well, if it wasn't for me getting into a school here, you wouldn't be here," he mumbled, finally settling on some random show that I'd never heard of. I shrugged before walking into my bedroom. I replayed the mind-dizzying events of the night, and as I lay down on my bed, my mind couldn't help but drift to Biggy. The way we talked, it felt as if we were pieces of a puzzle being put together. I wondered what he was doing right now, and if he was thinking about me too. Even though it had only been a short while since we last talked, I couldn't get him off my mind. But I knew I couldn't think about it for too long; I had to focus on the present and enjoy my time with Noah, if that was possible. I closed my eyes, trying to push away thoughts of Biggy, and drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, I woke up to the sound of honking cars and bustling city sounds. I got out of bed and looked out the window, taking in the city landscape. The sun was just starting to rise, casting a warm glow over everything. I couldn't help but feel grateful for this opportunity to experience a different way of life. It was very different from waking up and seeing the ocean every morning, like it was in Sydney. As I got ready for the day, I made a mental note to explore more of the area and take advantage of all the new experiences that America had to offer. Suddenly, I heard a small beep coming from my phone.

Biggy Norris: Hi! Just wanted to say that last night was really fun. Enjoyed talking 2 u. ;)
Hesitantly, I replied back.
You: Same here :) c u around maybe
