Sei was just... More shocked than if Makima had told her, and meant it, that she loved her.

He even had come to ask her for a movie to watch with the girl.

She was happy for him tho, starting to live a somewhat normal life, not that much but still.

But all that sudden happiness had left her when a bird of hers so the girl's sudden flip of personality and her reaching to touch Denji's head before Nayuta did her Nayuta... That is enforcing her control over the girl.

The bird watched from outside the apartment without hearing anything that was said.

Because of Nayuta, Asa didn't remember the date she had with Denji and thought she was left in school and he ditched.

"You seem sad." She heard a voice.

"What? no, I'm not sad." She didn't believe she was.

"Come on, you have such a long face." The woman said, she looked a bit older but still young, smiling at her.

"I don't like this." Asa kept herself from looking at Yoru, that war devil, not wanting to seem like more of a freak in front of a stranger... But the fact the war devil told her that made her uneasy.

"Don't judge me, I don't know you!"

"But you do, we already met." The woman made an offended face, a hand on her chest.

Asa instantly felt awful for not remembering her, how was she so stupid to forget someone? Oh god oh god, she is an idiot!

"A-ah I'm sorry." She said.

"I just wanted to tell you one thing." The woman sighed, still looking displeased.

"Y-yeah?"

"Down."

Asa felt her legs give away.

"Yoru?!" She asked, for once thinking her words and not saying them out loud, unable to move her legs no matter how much she tried.

"I can't either." The devil said, unable to take over since Asa was scared and they had discovered that when Asa is scared, Yoru can do nothing.

"You know, I was happy for Denji when he came running to ask me thing for that date you invited him on." Sei said, not mentioning the Nayuta accident as she was privy to the info about her mind being wiped since she knew how Conquest's power worked. "But I am not happy for what has been happening. Stay away from him."

Sei leaned down, her hands on her knees, offering a smile. Asa shaking.

"You know, from this close it is quite obvious." Sei said, tilting her own head left and right as she observed her, making Asa even more nervous. "You reek of war my dear, you might need to get that little devil problem of yours looked at." She jabbed her finger against Asa's forehead a few times.

"Oh my god she knows!!" She yelled in her mind.

"And I guess Famine must be around too then, right?" Sei grinned but it had nothing reassuring to it anymore, it was cold and scary. "Of course she must be, she care for war in her own twisted sick way.

"Conquest." Yoru whispered in Asa's mind and she didn't like the uncertainty in her voice.

"I see that light of recognition in your eyes, so either war told you about me or she finally remembered me." Sei chuckled. "I'll tell you this once tho, I'll leave you alive for now because that boy would be displeased and you are a nice enemy to keep closer then friends... I look after him... If you hurt him, you deal with me... Got it war?"

Asa couldn't answer but Sei took it as a yes, straightening out with a smile.

"It was nice to talk with you again." She chuckled gently. "Tho I never thought you'd take a human form."

Asa screamed a little as crows swooped down around her, she covered her head.

When she looked up the woman was gone.

"We... Are in some deep shit." Yoru mumbled.
