The devil did look better of, Quanxi thought, having a bit more color too her face, not just paleness... Seems she'll need to keep an eye on that too.

"She'll be fine, don't know what happened exactly but she accepted my help." Accepted was a long shot, more like she forced Sei to bite her.

Quanxi told the majority of the fiends when they found themselves in each others company without the devil to hear, having been asked, with Cosmo, to go buy cornflakes yet again because Long was eating half a bag each breakfast.

"Are we the problem?" Long asked.

"Why'd you think that?" Quanxi lifted the one visible brow on her face.

"She is always fixing our mess I suppose."

"Plus not everyone can deal with the four of us." Pingtsi added, playing with a strand of normal hair on her head. "Always needing to keep so many things in mind."

"You are not hard to deal with." Quanxi shook her head. "This is something from before we met."

"The pink bitch?" Long asked, never having called that woman by her name.

"Probably since Sei is always going on about her even if she doesn't notice, she talks a lot about her sister." Pingtsi answered and Quanxi just nodded, it was her thought process too.

"And I am sure it has something to do with the sort of devil they are." Quanxi thought out loud, having been stationary before but was now walking up and down in the living room, the fiends watching her go. "Something to do with manipulation."

"She did order us to stay back in the missile to the home incident and my body didn't want to move even if I wanted to help." Long said, a finger against her own cheek as she thought.

"And I still can't bring myself to explain what I saw before." Pingtsi added, remembering it clearly tho, the blood pooling out of the devil and being unable to do anything to help, only watching retch up more and more of the liquid.

"I'll ask, you girls stay out of it, we don't want to scare her away. She had been really pushy last time I brought forth that something was up." Quanxi said. "Got it?" All three nodding, Tsugihagi having not much to add and not feeling like it.

Quanxi looked out the window bay, it was slightly tinted darker now, something about being more blast resistant, somehow, that didn't reassure her.

"Halloween!" Sei was holding the fiends hand in an almost vice grip tho the half brain dead behaving fiend didn't feel it, it was a must to keep her from running away from her and starting a chase.

Cosmo wearing a pair of sunglasses to hide her hanging eye and a fluffy woven hat for her brain.

Sei had a backpack on, filled with the week's worth of cereal boxes while holding the fiend that was trying to run from vitrine too vitrine to look at everything.

"This girl needs a leash." She thought with envy, seeing a mother have a child-leash on her son as they walked past them. "Where did you buy that ma'am? I'll give you gold for it."

The moment the tugging stopped was when Sei looked away from the woman and at Cosmo who was looking quite uncomfortable.

"What's up Cosm--" A smell hit her. "Gunpowder." That smell again.

She supposed Cosmo was also smelling it, making her freeze up partially, guns make many people scared now, even the fiends it seemed.

"Maybe she was force to become a fiend because of the gun devil, would explain the missing skull part of the human body's." She thought. "Come." She was the one dragging her now, pulling her into a mall quickly but with a controlled pace.

Her eyes snapped around, looking over her shoulder as she speed walked, Cosmo looking constantly over her shoulder.

She past in front of the sort of cosplay-halloween thingy store, swiping a pair of contact lenses from a display.

She popped the cap off, pushing Cosmo in the nearest restaurant, a crammed American MacDonald fast food.

"Sit please." She ordered her tho added the please to give her the choice to obey or not and Cosmo sat at a table with a round bench after a nod, Sei slipped down next to her, dumping liquid and lenses in her hands, grabbing one and sticking it in her eyeball. "Get us food." She ordered a worker this time to be sure they looked like real clients.

She blinked away the tears as it wasn't comfortable to shove lenses in her eyes like she was doing but it was needed, bringing out the phone Kishibe brought her, cursing she didn't know Quanxi's number right now, but used the photo app to look at herself, yellow eyes with red rings in them.

"Hallo?" Cosmo asked, that was easy for even her to understand. 'Why?'

"You'll see why, now play calm and all will be fine." She grabbed Cosmo's hand, feeling her own sweaty palms, giving her a grin, trying to sound confident.

The ordered worker put down a random platter of food in front of them.

"Halloween..." She looked worried.

"Come on, you can eat, all will be fine." She promised.

She felt her throat tight, eating the nuggets in front of her and waiting tho it didn't take a long while for something to happen.

"Excuse me?" She looked up at the smiling woman with a thick accented Japanese, instantly knowing something was off, the woma knew she spoke Japanese and didn't speak Chinese despite being in China. "This place if so full, can I share a table with you?"

"Sure, take seat." She crossed her fingers and gave her a glacial but welcoming smile, answering in the same language.

"Thank you." The woman sat down and it took all in Sei to keep the small almost condescending smile on her face and to look in control of everything, body relaxed and in control.

It was silent for a long while, as if the rush around them was no more, Sei watching the woman eat casually as Cosmo looked a bit stressed but kept on eating, looking away and at the wall, refusing to cross the stranger's gaze.

"So..." Sei tapped the table with a tilt of the head. "Will you tell me what you are doing here bomb devil?" She sweetly asked, a brow barely lifted.

The girl just chuckled, taking a happy bite from her burger.

"I should ask you the same Makima."

She felt Cosmo's eyes on her in realization but she didn't look at her, this was their only protection to keep from being in bigger trouble then Cosmo realized.

Sei needed to play into this role, to save them from a shit show if not, she was her sister currently, that's why she swiped those contact lenses.

Even if you haven't met her before, you know of Makima and are scared of acting out against her.

She needs to play her cards right to get out of this without any casualties, a new enemy or both.
