"--The head of the soviet branch of devil hunters has been strung up in his underwear and dead for hours before authorities have found him, paper bag with 'stay out of the country' written on it and--" Pingtsi turned off the TV.

"Just to talk?" She asked with a raised eyebrow Quanxi didn't see, yet again reading newspapers despite her motto of ignorance being bliss.

"I was really convincing." She simply said, flipping a page. "I don't keep you around to judge me." She joked with a grin, finally looking up from the paper.

"I still will." Pingtsi smiled. "Anyhow, any work today? It's been a while since we've done something together that wasn't work related if we don't count that restaurant outing."

"No I haven't been given any missions to complete."

"Can we go somewhere?"

"Sure, set it up and then we can go."

"Yay!"

For once the Sei could have slept in easily, she was woken up... At least she was freed of Cosmo now, don't get her wrong, she likes the fiend but she also liked having ownership of her arm again.

At least she could eat breakfast this time, her body let her and Long hadn't inhaled it all.

That was moments before she was told that there wouldn't be any lazying around at home, that Pingtsi, bless her heart, had had the magnificent idea to have an outing.

"Sei just sipped the coffee with a moody face." Quanxi narrated her mood, causing the devil to looked at her, getting a small smile from the half eyed woman.

"I just don't know if it is the best idea to go out after what happened yesterday." Sei told her, sitting next to each other today.

"It will be fine, they won't bother again."

"How can you be so sure?"

"I just am." Sei didn't feel like questioning her longer, both of them were stubborn when there were things they didn't want to speak about.

"Alright."

-----------------------------------------------

Sei stood there, in the wind, hair whipped in her face, why was it so windy? Long had succeeded in breaking the one air conditioning unit on the side of a building and that was the one right above Sei.

"I'll skin you." Sei said, fixing the mess of a hair style she had, fixing the cap she was wearing with fake glasses, slightly concealing she was indeed not herself or the sister, tho how she dressed: sport shoes, torn up, faded and stitched up jeans from devil hunting, a tanktop and finally a ripped dark green hoodie, she looked more like a rebellious teenage hooligan then the mirror image of the sophisticated woman at the head of the Japanese bureau. "How did you even do that?? You were trying to skip a stone! The pond is five feet in front of you!"

It was basically just 'fuck around and find out' the plan of Pingtsi, walking around, window watching, hanging in a little nearby park, whatever came up.

Long just rubbed her head with a chuckle, of course this happened when Quanxi left them alone for a moment.

Sei picked up a stone, showed it to her.

"Stone goes forwards." She flicked her wrist, sending the stone bouncing of the top of the water as if it was solid ground and the stone was a rubber ball, skipping across the whole pond and punching a hole in a concrete wall on the other side.
