Sei kept glancing at the window bay, ignoring the rambling going on around her.
"Hey! Are you listening?" Pingtsi poked her side.
"Oh yeah, sorry, a bit distracted." She said with a chuckle, rubbing the back of her head.
"It is really important or you won't know how to play!" She was trying to explain to her a card game she wanted to play with her, Long had agreed to play too while Tsugihagi and Cosmo sat on the bed watching them as the three others sat on the ground.
"Sure, sorry."
She looked up with a sigh, looking at the two ravens that landed on the ledge of the open window, it was to aerate the room Sei said but it was to be sure she'd have tools on hand. She could borrow the sight and hearing of the birds but even with them she didn't see anything.
After a while she stopped outright observing, listening more too the rambling fiend but still unsure how to play the game.
"No you can't put an ace on the king card." She was reprimanded.
"Why? This is all quite complicated." She countered, looking confused at her cards, she had tied her hair up in a pony tail to keep it from hanging in her face.
"Quanxi picked it up easily." Long mentioned the woman that was not in the home, having been called for a job she said she could do alone.
"Well I am not her am I?" Sei asked with a smile before that vanished, a metallic glint catching her eyes. "COVER!!" Yelling towards the birds as she threw her cards, the perched birds flying up before their blood was splattered on the window moments before a blast blew in the window, the metallic frames of it still standing but the glass shards going flying.
Long jumped in front of the two girls on the bed, her skin much more resistant, being the dragon fiend, the glass bounced off it.
Sei had kicked the little table they were putting the cards on up and crouched behind it to covered Pingtsi and herself.
"Shit." She hissed, peaking out from behind the little desk seeing the mess of glass and bird chunks, it was just the shock wave, if she hadn't sacrificed those birds this bomb would have exploded inside the room and not outside of it.
She only caught a glint from the vision of a perched crow.
"I'll deal with them!" She hissed. "Probably after me anyway." She muttered.
"Wait it is dangerous alone." Long called.
"Stay here." She ordered them directly as she stepped on the bent metal frame and jumped out of the building, falling several floors down before she landed, the impact creating a few deep cracks in the concrete.
She took a deep breath, many people dressed in black suit uniforms came out of hiding, seemingly out of thin air.
"You know." She stretched, cracking her fingers purely by stretching them out. "You made me quite mad."
"Surrender now and your death will be short and painless!" Her words were ignored as a male voice threatened her but she didn't take enough care in spotting where that voice came from.
This time she saw it coming clearly, it was the shine of the bomb, throwing her hand out and grabbing it around the body of it and with a spin sending it back the way it came, the building chuck getting blown out.
A calm before the storm fell over them all... A storm that wouldn't be merciful.
"Anyone that stands down and doesn't fight will have the chance to walk away from here.... Those that don't.... Will never walk again." Sei said, smiling coldly at them. "I am still 'her' sister, I can be just as efficient as she is." A deep red glow came from her eyes as she cupped her hands behind her back with a familiar smile she shared with her twin painted across her face and this time, having the same connotation as her twin's smile did: imminent death for disobedience.
