I wake to an empty bed. Ah? Usually Tsukasa would be here right next to me. What if...

I notice I'm hyperventilating and I can't breath. The whole room seems to close in on me. He's coming back, right? He- Tsukasa? Please? Tears stream down my face and I fall back onto the bed.
"Rui? Are you okay, my dear?" A voice I recognize Tsukasa's says.
"T-Tsu-" I start but I'm interrupted.
"It's okay, calm down. I'm right here." He caresses my hand gently and lovingly. "Breath in, breath out. Breath in, breath out. And again, alright..." He kisses the hand he was holding and rubs my back. "What's wrong, sweetie?"
"I-I though y-you left me..." I mumble, hiccuping lightly.
"W-what? I would never leave you, Rui. I love you too much..." He hugs me and kisses my cheek. "I was making some coffee for us. I brought your share." He smiles and hands me a cup as warm as his hugs. He went through all of this for me and I repay him with this? I'm the worst partner ever.
"I'm s-sorry..." I feel the tears coming back.
"Don't apologize, my love. Please remember I will always be here. I love you."
"I love you too, Tsukasa." I take a sip of the coffee. "Ah!" I gasp as the drink burns my tongue.
