Rui POV:
"Nene-chan! Where are you?" I yell across the playground. Me and Nene are playing hide and seek and I really wanna win! "Nene-chan!! " I look under the slide, no Nene-chan. I look through the tunnel, still no Nene-chan "Mommy!!"
"Yes sweetie?" My mommy says.
"Where did Nene-chan go? I wanna win hide and seek!!" I cross my arms.
"Rui, " she laughs, "you can't ask me, that's cheating! You have to find her on your own, baby." She kisses my forehead and I groan.
"Fine!" I stomp away and head for the forest. She must be there!
"Don't go too far, Rui!" My mother yells.
"Okay!!" I say back.
Maybe Nene-chan is hiding in this bush?
Nope.
Maybe she's-
Hm? What's that sound?
It sounds like someone crying! What if somebody's hurt? I start to run until I find the source of the sniffles. Sitting behind a tree is a boy with blonde and pink hair. His cheeks are dampened by his tears. He jumps back when he sees me, before wiping his nose with his sleeve.
"Hello? Are you okay?" I ask, sitting down next to him.
"Y-yeah.. " he wipes his eyes, "I'm okay."
"What's wrong?"
"Well.. My mommy and daddy left with my little sissy... I think they.-" he hiccups, "I t-think th-hey forgot about m-me!" He starts sobbing and hugs me.
"H-hey- it's okay! I'm sure they're looking for you right now!" I hug him back.
"You- you t-think?" He asks.
"Uh-huh! Let's go back to the playground to look for them!" I pull off of him and and stand us both up.
"Okay..." He says, "Can I hold your hand? I'm scared that they really meant to leave me..." He asks. His eyes get blurry with tears again.
"Of course! But I'm sure they didn't mean it." I grab a hold of his hand, finding comfort in the softness.
"Thank you.. "
"You're welcome!" I smile. We start walking through the woods, "what's your name? Mines Rui!"
"I'm Tsukasa... World future star!!" He strikes a cool (and adorable) pose.
"So cool!!" I smile brightly.
"You really think that?!?" He asks excitedly.
"Totally! You're so super cool, Tsukasa-kun!" I reply. His face turns red. Maybe he's hot... I hope he's not sick!
"Thank you Rui... " he mumbles and turns his head away. Oh no! Tsukasa-kun is most definitely sick!
"Are you okay Tsukasa-kun? You don't look too good!" I say with concern.
"I-Im okay it's just... I-"
"UWAHHHH!!! ONI-CHAN!!!" A little girl runs and hugs Tsukasa-kun. That must be his sissy.
"Saki!" He hugs her back. "I missed you so much!!"
"Tsukasa! How could you run off? You worried your little sister!" A woman who resembles the two comes and snatches him.
"I'm so sorry, mommy!" He cries and buries his head in her neck.
"Don't call me that, it's weird. Now, let's go." She puts him down starts walking away.
"Bye bye Rui-kun!!! See you soon!!! " he waves and yells.
"Bye, Tsukasa-kun!! " I wave back. The little girl runs behind her mother and Tsukasa-kun.
"Rui-kun?" A voice says. I look back to see Nene-chan! "You took so long! I have to go home now!" She whines.
"I'm sorry Nene-chan... But I made a new friend!" I say.
"Sure. Bye. " she says, still mad.
I hope I see the cute Tsukasa-kun again.
