Days became a blur as time passed from the car accident. Bella had been growing closer to Edward, her questioning glances being thrown his way as he danced around her questions.

'Hey Bella! La Push! Are you in?' Eric's voice bounced around the cafeteria, his smile contagious as Bella responded with one of her own.

Bella raised her brows at the boy, not knowing what he meant by that.

'We're planning to go to First Beach tomorrow. It's in the Rez, where Jake lives?' Angelina said, helping Bella understand. When she received a nod from the older girl she continued, 'We were planning to go hiking, there are really beautiful views.' She smiled.

'Yeah sure!' Bella had replied enthusiastically, making Angelina raise her brows while she laughed at the clumsy girl.

As the day passed, Angelina couldn't wait to go to La Push. Her eagerness and happiness radiating off of her. When the day came she bounced down the stairs, kissed her grandma on the cheek and almost skipped to the door in her enthusiasm.

The crisp sea breeze greeted them as they arrived at First Beach. The sound of crashing waves and the distant calls of seagulls created a symphony of nature. Angelina's excitement was infectious, and even Bella found herself caught up in the anticipation of a day filled with laughter and new experiences.

The girls set out on their hike, navigating the winding trails that led to scenic viewpoints. But Angelina decided to stay behind, wanting to admire the beach for a little longer and staying with Tyler and Eric who didn't feel like hiking.

'Ange, I think those guys are waving at us.' Tyler's voice shook out Angelina from her reverie. She looked at where Tyler had pointed with his head, and smiled when she recognized the small trio.

Quil was beaming at having found their friend, walking a bit faster than his to best friends and meeting Angelina in the middle with a bear hug.

'Ang! We haven't seen each other in SO long!' Quil complained, his shoulders slumping with his act.

Angelina giggled, holding Quil at arms length at glaring at him playfully. 'We met last weekend at the party here.' Angelina rolled her eyes, stepping away to hug Jacob and Embry, the last being a bit longer than the other two. 'But you wouldn't remember that.'

The other two boys chuckled at the boy being teased. 'Poor Quil got grounded for going home in that condition.' Embry's voice startled Angelina, he had gotten much taller in such a short time, his voice getting huskier too.

After a moment of silence, where the ocean met the sand and their dancing became too loud, Angelina introduced Eric and Tyler to the boys.

The now bigger group hit it off quickly, laughing loudly at dumb jokes being thrown around. They sat around a small bonfire, some sitting on the tree logs while others preferred to sit on the sand. Angelina was too concentrated braiding Jacob's hair to notice Embry's gaze on her, his thoughts consumed by the small dimples that formed on her cheeks when she laughed. Unbeknownst to him, Quil and Jacob exchanged knowing looks, recognizing the telltale signs of their friend's budding infatuation.

As the evening wore on, the group shared stories, from the mundane to the extraordinary. The boys, Jacob, Quil, and Embry, spoke of their adventures and mischief around La Push, weaving tales of friendship. In turn, Eric and Tyler regaled them with stories from Forks, highlighting the stark differences between the two places.
