Both girls walked side by side through the bustling crowd of students, their arms intertwined as they talked.

Angelina, in her rush to get to school, had put on her shirt inside out, the seams and tags conspicuously visible for everyone to see. Bella had pointed it out with a laugh and Angelina had shrugged, telling her it was "a new trend she wanted to participate in".

As they reached their lockers, Bella continued to tease Angelina about her fashion faux pas. 'You know, if this "new trend" doesn't catch on, you might have to start a trend of your own. "Inside-out chic," perhaps?'

Angelina laughed, though her mind was preoccupied with the secrets she had uncovered. 'Maybe I'll start a new fashion revolution. Or maybe I'll just make sure I dress properly tomorrow.'

Bella gave her a playful nudge before heading to her next class. 'Well, whatever you do, try not to get us both into trouble with your experimental wardrobe.'

Throughout the day, Angelina tried to balance her schoolwork with her excitement about the forest. Her mind wandered frequently, especially during history class, where she found herself daydreaming about the confusing book.

When their lunch break began both girls walked arm-in-arm to the cafeteria, standing at the end of the line for their food and talking quietly.

'So, how was Florida with Edward and your mom?' Angelina asked Bella while grabbing two trays for them.

Bella blushed, quite shy to talk about her relationship. 'It was nice, Renee seemed to love him.' The girl replied. 'Although she seemed a bit too attentive, she even noticed something about him wasn't normal.'

Angelina chuckled, rolling her eyes. 'Everyone knows there is something weird about his family, they're not that discreet.'

'Yeah, but my mom never notices those things.' Bella said thoughtfully, she later shrugged. 'It doesn't really matter though, I know she won't find out.'

The cafeteria buzzed with the usual lunchtime chatter as Angelina and Bella found their usual spot with their friends. The sun was shining brightly outside, casting a warm glow over the students as they chatted and ate.

'Hey girls! Guess what!' Jess said excitedly, her hands shaking with emotion.

Both Angelina and Bella raised their eyebrows in surprise, 'What happened? Why are you so excited?' Angelina smiled at her friend, sitting next to her.

Jess smiled at both girls, sharing a knowing smile with Angela and the rest of their friends. 'I'm gonna be the Valedictorian at our graduation! I'm really excited! I totally thought it was gonna be Eric.'

'Oh my god, Jess! I'm so happy for you!' Bella said to the girl, smiling at her.

Their lunch hour seemed to pass in a blur, with Angelina promising Angela to help her write her graduation announcements, Jess talking eagerly about her speech and formulating ideas and the boys, as always, goofing around.

The rest of the day dragged on, each class feeling longer than the last. Angelina found herself fidgeting in her seat during Algebra, her mind far from equations and formulas. She tried to focus on her teacher's explanations, but the allure of the forest kept distracting her.
