"Maligayang bati sa iyong pagsilang! Maligayang, maligayang, maligayang bati!"

Hindi ko alam kung mananatili pa ba ako dito na nakatayo o mas pipiliin ko na lang na magpalamon sa lupa ng hardin dahil sa ka-extra-han at pakulo ng mga kaibigan ko.

I was trying so hard to ease the embarrassment I have been feeling since they went to follow me. I wasn't expecting them to come after me kaya ganoon na lang din ang kahihiyan sa loob-loob ko because they caught me and Jayscen hugging each other.

I mean, hindi rin naman lumagpas ng limang segundo ang yakap na 'yon pero nakita pa rin nila dahil, siyempre, sinundan nga nila ako.

Jester was the one singing at the top of his lungs, making the other students in Petal's Garden glance our way. That loudmouth really knew how to steal attention from everyone hanging around. But still, I was super grateful for my friends' effort. Davin was holding a small box with a cupcake, while Jester provided the loud, chaotic soundtrack of Nicki Minaj from his mini speaker.

We spent the entire break at the gazebo, celebrating my birthday. Having them around made me feel so at home. It was pure nostalgia. Our laughter echoed through the gazebo as we bickered and made memories wholeheartedly. Honestly, I'd say that moment was completely wholesome.

I glanced at Jayscen as I smile. Pulang-pula pa rin ang mukha at tenga niya dahil siguro sa nangyari kanina. Our gaze met and he smiled with a beet red blushing face. Mukha siyang nahihiya ngayon. Cutie.

Days had flown by, and the spirit of Christmas felt like a warm embrace from my loved ones. We were all busy in the classroom because our teacher was rushing us for Practical Research 1. The third quarter was almost over, and we needed to submit Chapter 2 of our paper. Next quarter, we'd start Chapter 3. For now, we would only finish up to Chapter 3 in Grade 11—the rest would continue in Grade 12.

"Ang sabi ko magpapabuhat ako, e!" singhal ng leader namin na si Raven na ngayon ay tutok na tutok sa laptop habang nagta-type.

And just like that, mayroon na namang dumagdag na pa-event-event kaya siguradong tambak na naman kami. I'm looking forward to it anyway, especially since we have the opportunity to perform again on stage again. For sure, magpe-perform ang lahat ng banda ng Morgen High.

"Banda ang inaabangan namin!" saad ng mga classmate ko.

Same, people. Same. At 'yon na nga, matapos pa lang ng klase ng last period sa hapon ay saktong nagpatawag ang Kanluran Band para mag-practice.
