He kissed me, right beside my lips. I was too shocked to process everything. I never expected him to do that.

I was always the one teasing him about things like this, confident that he would not just act on it because he always considered how I would feel. But I guess I pushed his limits, leaving him with no choice but to finally give me a kiss.

Hindi rin naman ako nagrereklamo. Halo-halong emosyon iyon dahil first time ko 'yong maranasan. Ni hindi nga umabot ng tatlong segundo ang halik niya sa 'kin, pero 'yong epekto ay sa tingin ko ay dadalhin ko nang ilang taon.

Sobrang init ng mukha ko nang tuluyang makapasok sa kuwarto ko.

Hindi na nga ako nakapagpaalam sa kanya nang maayos kanina bago ako bumaba sa kotse niya dahil sa sobrang kilig ko. Dire-diretso akong dumapa sa kama. I buried my face against my pillow at saka nagsisisigaw sa kilig, hinampas-hampas ko pa ang kamay ko sa higaan.

Nakikiliti pa rin ang tiyan ko sa hindi malamang dahilan. Sobrang bilis lang niyon, for goodness sake. Pero iyong epekto sa 'kin ay iba ang dating.

As soon as my phone beeped for a notification, agad ko itong binuksan. Jayscen's name was on the lockscreen, mayroon siyang message. Napangiti na lang ako at tumili-tili. Nakakainis. Pakiramdam ko dahil sa kilig kong 'to ay natutulad na ako kila Jester at Davin. Mga lover boy din naman ang mga 'yon.

I tossed my phone to my bed because I could feel my cheeks burning. Kayakap ko ang unan ko hanggang sa makatulog din.

A month passed by, the second semester of the school year finally started. Maaga akong naglinis ng sarili dahil maaga rin ang schedule ko bilang work immersion student.

I chose Secondary Education kaya na-assign ako sa isang highschool sa Centro.

Walang araw na hindi ako hinahatid-sundo ni Jayscen sa school sa Centro sa tuwing may shift ako roon for On Job Training.

Jayscen once told me that he was just finishing the first two quarters of Grade 12 STEM because he wanted to be here with me in the Philippines.

When he was in the US, he seized the opportunity to enroll at the Astronomy University, completing the first semester as quickly as he could. That's why he was able to return here so soon; he literally rushed everything, including his requirements, through his first-year first and second semester.
