Knock, knock.

Getting up, I swung open my door and Perry plowed right into my arms.

"You'd think it would dawn on me that doors open in not out," she said gathering herself. "I gotta stop peeping in the peepholes. Nice crib by the way," she continued looking around my room.

I stood behind her, looking out the window at the cemetery and I could see the opening me and Connor had our little donut moment. I could also see where the angel crumbled. I remembered the way Damon's eyes shown with worry and the way he whispered close to me. The way his fingers were on my neck, it all made me feel hot. And pathetic. I sighed and turned away from the window, watching Perry still looking around.

She was currently picking things up off my desk, scrutinizing each item. The little fairy paper weight Dad had got me from Boston, the picture of me and mom when she had a very bad perm, the stack of CD's Jane had given me before she pretended not to know me.

"Where are your books?" I asked Perry. "You said you wanted to come and study?"

I waited for an answer as Perry walked to my dresser and went through my clothes. Okay, this was enough.

"Okay, enough snooping," I said. "Isn't there a research we should be doing?"

"Speaking of snopping, yes. There is research we should be doing," she said. "Look, if you really want to know about Damon Price--"

"SHH!" I hissed, hurrying to shut the door. I didn't want any one to hear us let alone Connor. And I would die if he found out how curious of Damon I was.

After a few moments, I let out a breath and glared at Perry, who was smiling at me amused.

"What makes you think I want to know anything about him?" I asked putting my hands behind my back and dug my toe into the red carpet I put down.

"Come on. It's totally obvious you stare at him all the freakin' time," she said laughing.

"SHH!" I shushed her again when she got too loud.

"Also, I watched you stalk him online for an entire class the other day." She said raising an eyebrow,"I'm just saying, if you wanted to know then you should know that you had help."

"I'm listening," I said, sinking down onto the bed next to her.

Yesterday after I found Damon's last name in the fallen angels list, I had typed in his name and search it over and over.

"I was hoping you'll say that. I'm telling you this because I have access to the off limits lair of Fallen's office records!"

"I don't know," I grimaced. Searching Damon on google was different then going through his personal files.

"Come on, it'll be fun. Besides what else are you going to do on a perfect Sunday?"

It was a nice day, nice enough to make you not want to be alone. Last night, the wind was strong but today it was so cool out. I used to spend these type of days out with my friends at the mall or beach. That was before everything happened. Before the figures started showing up. Honestly, I was a little worried at how I would spend my first weekend here.

"Okay, take me to your secret lair," I finally said.

Perry practically skipped along as she led me across the grass to the main building.

"You don't know how long I've waited for a partner in crime!"
