3 damn months. I waited for him for 3 damn months. So there's this boy named Shawn Mendes in my class and he well, had a girlfriend. Notice I said "had." He had a girlfriend 3 months ago. He thought he didn't need a girlfriend in life and high school. I've been waiting for him that well, if he likes me back. You see, right after s/n (Someones name 😂) broke up with him, I told him that I like him. We were best friends. Were. Right when I told him, he lost all contact with me. Blocked me everywhere. Avoids me, whatever it takes. (Haha like "this is what it takes"😂)

y/n hasn't been herself lately. She usually is more happy when she walks by me, usually waving as I look down. She looks down as I walk by or giving me a dirty look. Wait. I was y/n's only friend, and I left her. I left her because she told me she liked me and I wasn't at the time and I thought it was awkward that she did it.

The next day at school I was gonna apologize and tell her that we would be friends and it will all be nice and bubbly :).

I walked into the warm school escaping the cold air from the outside. My sweatpants swaying with my legs and my ugg boots hitting the ground with a small thump. I walk to my locker and close it to see a happy Shawn that was ready to talk. "Look, y/n I'm really sorry for leaving you, and avoiding you when you had no help and I know I probably left you when You needed me most and I'm really sorry about that.." He says in a very quick motion.
"Firstly, I wasn't mad that you left. I was mad because I had to wait 3 months for you and you didn't even notice because all you did was avoid me. You could have said "oh well I don't like you," or something. I would've been totally fine. But no, you decided to take the hard way out and avoid me. Good move." I state. I walk away quickly before he could grab my arm and try to change my mind.
