Percy knew it was only a matter of time before the whole Eris thing became a 'Percy problem'. He was walking into the living room after just waking up when he heard it on the news that his mom was watching.

"All of the pigeons have suddenly disappeared from New York and they seem to have been replaced by falcons." The anchorman said. "How did this happen? Who could have done this? Where did the pigeons go?" He asked with a monotone voice. "And next, sports." Tons of birds of prey instead of calm pigeons. Yeah, Percy knew this was Eris and he groaned loudly.

"Percy?" His mother asked nervously. "Are you okay?" He went and kissed her on the top of her head.

"Sorry, I just really miss those pigeons." He said. He pulled out his demigod-proof phone and called Happy, who he now has on speed dial, to come and bring him to the Avengers Compound. But before Happy arrived, Percy Iris-messaged Annabeth.

"I'm guessing the whole falcon thing is Eris' doing?" Her voice muffled by sounds of voices in the background. Annabeth was at camp were she was helping and training the younger demigods during the summer.

"Yep." Percy said unpleasantly, "Do you want to come to the Avengers Compound with me? I can ask Happy to pick you up." he could hear laughter and the clashing of swords while he waited for an answer.

"Okay. Yeah, I'll go. I've actually been doing research on the whole Eris thing."

"What a surprised." Percy muttered.

"What was that?" Annabeth asked sternly. Percy chuckled.

"Nothing! I'll tell Happy to stop by the strawberry fields and you could meet us there." Annabeth agreed and they hung up. He got a vibrating message from Happy telling him he was here and a few seconds later, the doorbell rung. Percy grabbed his walking stick and headed down the stairs with Happy. The outside world was a mess. Screeching falcons hovered overhead, close enough that Percy could hear the flapping of their wings. "Hey, is it alright if we stop somewhere and pick up my girlfriend? She's really smart and could help the Avengers." He asked when they got into the car.

"Of course, kid." Percy really liked Happy. He reminded him of a cool uncle that gave you chocolate and money at family gatherings. Not that Percy knew anything about cool uncles.

On the way to the compound after picking up Annabeth, she went on and on about the research she did. Not only on Eris, but on the Avengers themselves. "Steve Rogers, or Captain America, was frozen in ice and didn't age! He's like Nico and Hazel! Of course he didn't die or get stuck in a weird hotel." She said. "Tony Stark, or Iron Man, used to build weapons but just stopped! He also is apparently a genius who told the world his secret identity. Some genius." She muttered the last part.

"Hey, Tony is my boss." Happy said from the driver's seat. Annabeth chuckled nervously.

"Sorry." She playfully slapped Percy's arm telling him she's not actually sorry. Percy knew they arrived at the compound because of Annabeth's gasp and the feeling of the water nearby. "Oh, wow." She whispered. Percy felt the presence of another person when they got out of the car.

"Ms. Chase." Greeted Nick Fury. Happy told Percy that he told Fury they were bringing Annabeth. He wanted to meet her for "security" reasons but Percy thinks he just wanted to meet another demigod.

"Director Fury." Annabeth greeted in reply. Fury made a surprised yet pleasing noise. "Annabeth is fine. I'm happy to meet you and everyone. I hope I can be of some help." He could hear the smile in her voice.

"Come. You can meet the others, except Thor, that is. We made sure we won't have any special visits from him today." They followed Fury into the compound, the path rather familiar to Percy now.

"The stairs are this way." He said to Annabeth when they got to the part where the elevator was located.

"Is the elevator thing a demigod thing?" Fury asked. Annabeth grabbed Percy's hand.

"No, just an us thing." She replied quietly. Like Percy, Annabeth also does not want to be reminded of the elevator ride from hell, literally. They got to the common area without any panic attacks or any more questions about elevators. He could feel the people in the room, their blood now also familiar to Percy. Peter was the first to approach with unnatural speed.

"You're Annabeth!" He exclaimed. "I'm Peter! It's so cool to meet you!" His heart was racing, Percy thought it was cute that he was nervous to meet his new half-sister. Annabeth embraced him.

"Hi, Peter! It's nice to meet you. How about later I show you how to Iris-Message so we have chat more, yeah?" Percy smiled and Peter agreed with excitement.

"I'll introduce you to the others." Peter said. He walked away and up to each member. "This is Steve, Tony, Natasha, Bucky and Clint. These are just some of the members of the Avengers, myself included."

"Hello everyone. My name is Annabeth. I'm Percy's girlfriend and a daughter of Athena."

"The goddess of wisdom, huh?" Tony interrupted. "So you're pretty smart." Annabeth huffed.

"Wisdom and intelligence are not the same thing." Annabeth argued. "But yes, I'm very smart." She said with confidence.

"You're also the one who said my building was ugly." Percy could tell from his tone of voice that he was playing around.

"The Stark Tower? Yeah, it's ugly." Tony just laughed.

"I like you." Natasha said. Percy could feel the blood rush to her face, she was blushing.

"Thank you! It's not everyday you meet someone who can beat Percy in hand-to-hand combat so I like you too, Natasha." Percy groaned and regretted telling her that Natasha beat him in a matter of seconds. "Now down to business." She cleared her throat. "I've been doing research on Eris and how we can stop her and fix the messes she already made."

"So the falcons?" Bucky asked.

"That was Eris." Percy answered. "And she will do a lot worse than change the type of birds flying around New York City." Percy took a deep breathe. "She wants you all dead. She told me herself that the death of the Avengers would be the perfect start of her world of chaos." It was silent for a bit.

"You spoke to her?" Steve said hesitantly. Percy shook his head.

"She came to me in a dream." He explained. Him and Annabeth both decided it was best not to tell the Avengers about all of Percy's dream. Annabeth said telling them that Eris wants him to kill them might make them think of him as a threat instead of an ally. Annabeth cleared her throat to bring attention back to her.

"I know how to stop Eris." She announced. This was news to Percy. "And I'm going to need all of your help."
