A shocking discovery

Another three weeks passed like a blink of an eye. We are just five days away from our mission outside the walls. Levi has been training us relentlessly. I've been feeling major fatigue in every ounce of my body for about a week now and have unfortunately had to slow down my time at night with Levi, even just entering his room to sleep and nothing more. Luckily, he has been understanding of the situation and he seems more exhausted too these days.
I went with one of the other girls to gather firewood for the house. The summer is turning to fall and we are needing to stock wood in our downtime. We went about half a mile away and began to gather what we could find.
As I was gathering, I felt the fatigue hit me again as I struggled to use my aching muscles in my arms to carry half of my usual load. As I walked back towards the cart and saw the other girl, the one with golden hair, I suddenly dropped to my knees in a wave of dizziness. All the noise of my logs dropping caused her to run towards me, fearful of what happened.
"Are you alright??" She obviously was worried about me as she helped me stand up. I gripped tightly onto her hand for stability, frustrated at the situation, and myself.
"I'm fine, just tired," I lied. The dizziness hadn't gone away yet as she helped me into the wagon to rest. The ride only made my dizziness turn into nausea. The trip was short but painful as the motions made by each bump worsened my condition. She knew I was not feeling well and thankfully stopped herself from asking questions.
When we finally made it back to the house, everyone started to come over to help bring the wood inside but where surprised when the blonde girl started frankly yelling.
"Captain! Captain Levi, we need your help. Everyone else stay back!" She was yelling, clearly concerned about anyone getting ill from me. I couldn't blame her, but she held her fear well as all the soldiers did. They all obeyed as captain Levi rushed over to me.
"Petra, what's happening?" He asked, holding concern in her voice.
"Something is wrong with her Captain. She needs a medic, she nearly blacked out earlier," she explained now speaking professionally to Levi. I rolled my eyes at her blacking out comment, that seems quite exaggerated.
"Is this true? Can you stand now?" He spoke as he walked to the back of the wagon, opening the hatchet to see me curled up in a ball with the wood.
"I'm fine Captain, just tired," I said. I stayed in my position, trying to force the all encompassing nausea from overtaking me.
"If that's true, step out then," he ordered. I knew I had to, although I hated it. I crawled to the edge of the wagon, swinging my feet over the edge till they touched the grass below. "I can do this," I thought. I've never focused this hard on standing. I took my leap of faith, wishing the nausea goodbye only to fall over onto my hands and knee and vomit, profusely. Everyone at least gave me the privacy of looking away as Levi bent down, rubbing the back as he ordered the others to prepare a carriage for me. I desperately didn't want to go to medic, but I obviously didn't have a choice and I fell to the side with only darkness clouding up my vision.

When I awoke, I was in a soft bed. But it wasn't mine nor Levi's. I looked around for any sign of life only to see Levi was there with me, alone and holding my hand. I squeezed it as he looked up to meet my eyes.
"You're awake," he spoke to me cooly. I nodded in reply, still exhausted but the nausea had at least passed.
"Are the others sick?" I asked. I was worried, if one is sick it often isn't long until an entire squad is ill. That can be devasting sometimes.
He shook his head no as he stood up. "Everyone is fine except you, I am going to go find that lazy doctor and demand to know what's happening," he said. I agreed, worried of what was happening to me.
He got up and stormed out the door. I knew he would only do that if he felt I was okay. I pulled my knees to my chest in shame I had gotten so ill so quickly I had to be in the hospital. My mind frantically raced as I tried to figure what was happening to me. Had I eaten something bad? Overexertion? Been near anyone sick?
Every thought I had just returned to the same conclusion. There wasn't anything I could think of that would cause me to fall ill like this. I patiently waited as Levi walked in with a short doctor right behind him.
The doctor looked to be young, with glasses and medium brown hair. He had an attitude like a child dragged by the ear.
"So Doc, what's going on?" Levi asked coolly, his arms crossed. He was inpatient, but trying to seem like his normal self. The doctor adjusted his glasses and looked over his chart in hand.
"Well, I'm not really sure how to say this to be honest Captain. I have an idea, but I need to confirm it. May I confirm my suspicions with a non-invasive physical exam?" He asked Levi. Levi looked to me and I nodded. The doctor set down his clipboard as he approached me cautiously, like I was diseased.
"I am going to press on your stomach, I think something is there," he told me plainly.
"Hmm," Levi let out. I nodded as the doctor pushed around the top of my stomach, down to my belly button and two inches below. The area felt hard and would not go down very much like the other areas of my abdomen.
"Ahh," he said. "I know what this is," he said confidently. He wiggled the area until finally releasing.
"I'm sorry Miss, but I have to report this to your Captain but it may be embarrassing. You are with a child," he stated.
Both Levi and I eyes opened wide with shock as I let out a gasp.
